China’s Ministry of Water Resources: A year of high water is a year of good harvests. Food supplies are not affected
Severe flooding has occurred in the Yangtze River and Huaihe River valleys of mainland China since June, with rainfall reaching 759.2mm for 62 days, the highest and longest since 1961.
