Testament of Entrapped PolyU Students: A Message to All People of Hong Kong

We have nowhere to retreat to.

The eighth day of siege by Devilcops. We are prisoners in our own school.

Our friends outside are anxious for us. We are, however, in amiable beatitude.

In blood and tears, we protect our school from Devilcops. How are we wrong?

Yet the university head and management board, who are supposed to protect us, called on the police to have their students arrested with their own hands.

We shall fight till the end, to bear witness to how a school can push its students into the abyss.

Give us freedom or give us death.

We are not afraid of arrests or death, because history acquitted us all.

Heartbreaking Scene at #PolyU, where students have to use the fire hoses to rinse their bodies

Singer Tommy Yuen wrote on facebook:

"Why do they have to suffer?

Teng Jin-Guang, you will be the first one to blame if the PolyU students suffer from any casualties!

The police is too over-powered that even the members of the LegCo and Bishop Joesph Ha cannot save the students.

Carrie Lam, please wake up! Or are you just waiting to see the blood flows into a river before you stop?"

Civilians gathered at Tsim Sha Tsui in attempt to distract Police away from PolyU

A lot of people gathered at Cameron Road, Tsim Sha Tsui and blocked the streets with bricks and bamboos. The police once raised the blue flag and warn the people on the scene to leave immediately or otherwise they will use force. After a minute, they raised the black flag and warn the people that they will be deploying tear gas. Ten Special Tactical Squad police ran out from a street nearby, wielding round shields, batons and shotguns, and raised the orange flag to warn the people that they would open fire. Then, they move forward towards Carnarvon Road before retreating in five minutes. Soon after that, the people in black regrouped and built roadblocks with bamboo sticks.

Outside of the Kowloon Mosque on Nathan Road, a lot of riot police arrived to clean up the roadblocks and moved the bamboo sticks to the side of the street, before advancing towards Nathan Road. Some people burn sundries in the middle of the road, causing the police to stop and rebuild their formations. Riot Police announced through a speaker the people on the scene are participating in an illegal assembly, and warn unrelated personnel to leave or the police might “hurt them unwillingly.” The riot police then raised the blue flag, warning the people to leave the scene once again. They then raised the black flag again to warn the people that they will be deploying tear gas. The Police could then be seen advancing down the road with a few police vehicle following them closely.

In Jordan, about a hundred civilians in black blocked the street with sundries like bricks, bamboo sticks and plastic boards outside of the Yue Hwa Chinese Products Emporium on Nathan Road.
