Shui Chuen O Estate Polling Station Cleared By Authorities
The primary election was held by the democracy front on 11 and 12 July. Several polling stations continued to encounter suppression.
At Shui Chuen O Estate in Shatin, district councillor Yau Man-chun had set up a polling station outside his office. However, the station was cleared away by people who claimed to be "building supervisors" from the government's Housing Authority.
Later, the helpers of the polling station helped to set the booth up again. This time, people claming that they had received the instruction of the Housing Authority demanded another round of clearance. Nevertheless, the person denied having done so afterwards.
