How Far Can the Police Go to Suppress People's Voice?

1509 | Admiralty/Wanchai

On May 27, police and "special constables" were deoloyed excessively in Hong Kong. The armed forces did not restrain themselves from violating civilians' and journalists' rights of expression and reporting. On top of firing in the city's financial district, the police arrested over 360 civilians, making it the highest day record in 2020.

This video taken at 1509 shows one of these scenes: Riot police set up cordon and surrounded civilians between Admiralty and Wan Chai. As this slowly turned into the daily nightmares of Hong Kong, we implore you, our readers: never get used to suppresion.
