Riot police surrounded middle-aged man. During the gang up, an officer forcefully twisted the man's right leg. They then proceeded to press on him with their full bodyweight for several minutes, before taking him into the police van. The arrestee could be seen limping towards the van. Riot police officers gathered and made their way back into their police vehicle. Onlookers at the scene shouted sarcastically, asking them, "Do you have any ice (methamphetamines)," "Do you all have any Ketamine?"
These remarks expressed by the onlookers takes reference from a previous case where police officers from the Hong Kong Police Force were caught in possession of methamphetamines which they had confiscated from a raid.
Just this morning, the news also reported that the case a girl living in the police residence was caught possessing 3kgs of Ketamine was reopened.
