Riot Police Pushed Reporters Backwards on Escalator to "Disperse Crowds"

Yesterday (1st May) netizens called on Hongkongers to 'Shop and Sing' at Shatin's New Town Plaza Shopping Mall. A massive police force cordoned off the shopping mall and demanded shoppers leave. In addition, riot police blocked journalists from filming. As shown in the video, riot police pushed journalists backwards on the escalator, which could have caused serious injuries.
