#Myanmar Protesters: "Prepare for Protest Like in Hong Kong"
Into the 4th consecutive day of the nation-wide protest in Myanmar on Feb 9, 2021, the population took it to the street in opposition to the
coup d'Ă©tat staged by the military junta on Feb 1, 2021.
The demonstrators not only showed the three-fingered salute as popularized in the protests in Thailand, but also mobilized the crowd like Hongkongers did. Civilians also held sign that read "Prepare for Protest Like in Hong Kong".

Hongkongers Show Three-Finger Salute

In Hong Kong, some pro-democracy 'yellow' restaurants brought and distributed some drinks, sandwiches and snacks for the reporters as well as the citizens in support of the pro-democracy activists who are being mentioned in court.
Citizens gave a three-finger salute to show respect and express their gratitude towards the stores' generous actions.
They also chanted “ Hong Kongers! Add Oil!”. Given that there were many who gathered, the chant was very powerful.
