The Hong Kong Govt Imposes At Least Four Lockdowns in Multiple Districts Within a Day
The Hong Kong government on Feb 1, 2021 announced a series of lockdowns in multiple districts, following Chief Secretary Matthew Cheung's meeting with the press on the same day, stating that more lockdowns and mandatory tests are on their way.

The affected areas are Majestic House on 80 Nathan Road in Tsim Sha Tsui; Ho Choi Building on 42 - 58A On Hing Street in Yuen Long, and Loong King Mansion at 23-35H Ma Tau Wai Road in Hung Hom; and several buildings on Reclamation Street in Yau Ma Tei.
The photos capture the scene in Tsim Sha Tsui. Despite that the lockdown was imposed on one building, the neighborhood was cordoned off by the police. The booths manned by medical personnel also made it impossible for shops to stay open for business.

HK Police Break Their Promise; Curry Shop Owner and Employees Trapped in Lockdown Zone
Salaam Namaste Curry House is located in Canton Road in Yau Ma Tei, falling within the lockdown area marked by the Hong Kong authorities on Feb 4, 2021.
Just five minutes before the "ambush-style" lockdown took effect, a police inspector told the owner Devi that he and his employees could still leave.
However, just after they hurried to have their clothes changed and the restaurant closed within two to three minutes, a group of police cordoned the area and forbade them from leaving.
Trapped in the lockdown area and unable to go home, Devi felt very disappointed for that the police had broken their promised.
