HK Police's "Impartiality"

Two independent sources confirmed that water cannon vehicle has fired blue dye not only to the Muslim mosque but also the St Andrew's Church in Tsim Sha Tsui on Oct 20.

However, the government and police force only chose to clean the mosque and apologize to the muslims but not the St Andrew's Church and the christians. This unbalanced reaction and decision to go together with the fact that Carrie Lam is a largely-known-catholic who once claimed that "There is already a place reserved for me in heaven.”

The Anglican St Andrew’s Church was funded by Sir Catchick Paul Chater and built in 1904 with the foundation stone laid by Bishop Joseph Charles Hoare of Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui. Designed in Victorian Gothic style, the church is built of red brick and granite and laid on rammed earth foundations. Coloured glass in contemporary Art Nouveau style were used to build the dome-framed windows.

As one of the oldest churches of Hong Kong, St. Andrew's Church has witnessed the history of Hong Kong. It withstood several deadly typhoons and has passed through the period of Japanese occupation when it was altered as a Japanese Shrine. It was awarded the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Heritage Awards for Culture Heritage Conservation in 2006.

Mohan Chugani to launch formal complaint after police hit the Kowloon Mosque with Blue Dye Water Cannon

Chugani, formal Chairman of Indian Association of Hong Kong, said on October 22 that he is considering to launch a formal complaint to the HK Police Force. He added that he supports the establishment of independent inquiry commission, saying it is "for the sake of public interests."

He clarified he was misled for going to the "Pro-Police" Rally when the host asked about his political stance. He had only mentioned "the government should be more gentle to the public and offer dialogue to resolve conflicts". He did not know it was a rally to show support for the police.

He said the blue-dyed irritant from the water cannon led to extremely discomfort on his skin. There was a strong "burning" sense and he had bathed for more than ten times last night.

Mohan Chugani Disatisified with Police Apology, As They Refused to Admit their Fault

Mohan Chugani, former Chairman of Indian Association of Hong Kong said that Tang Ping-Keung, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), and Chief Executive Carrie Lam both sent him regards through WhatsApp. He could feel Lam's sincerity and basically accepted their apologies. He, however, could not accept Police Public Relation Branch's (PPRB) explanation at the press conference saying there were rioters and protesters at the scene. He described the saying as "crap" and "rubbish".

He also mentioned that last night (Oct 21) Tang explained to him, saying the event was a "very unfortunate accident", and he was not satisfied. "They keep saying that it was an accident. If they are really sorry for that, they should not say there were protesters at the front. They should have said 'Those people at the front were not protesters, they were just normal citizens, and we were wrong.' to show their sincerity. I would have accepted if they did not keep saying people outside were protesters. All they have said is crap."

He continued, "If you cannot undo the wrongs, please explain to all Hong Kong people and say you are sorry instead of making excuses. You can't always be right and say the people are wrong."

After the Kowloon Mosque was sprayed by blue tinted water from police on Sunday afternoon , those ‘violence protestors’ and citizens helped clean the mosque shortly after the incident took place. And the police? They put on a show to clean the mess they have created at night, but it has been cleaned by the public hours ago.
