On Percival Street and Lee Garden Hill Road, many citizens were stopped-and-searched by police officers. The officers have also created a cordon to surround a dozen citizens outside of the storefront of Oriental Watch. Many citizens have entered the shops to take shelter.

At lunch hours, riot police dispersed citizens at the area around Peddar Street with pepper ball rounds. They hurled abuse at the citizens as they pushed forward. Multiple shots of pepper balls were fired, not seeming to stop even when the unarmed citizens were already retreating, who seemed to become targets of the riot police.

The officer did not apologize. Another officer was also pointing to citizens on the streets with his baton and demanding them to leave.
