Shatin District Councillor Receives Warning from Housing Authority for Using Office as Polling Station
The democracy front is organizing a primary election on July 11 and 12, for Hong Kong citizens to vote for the candidate of their choice without constraint.
Shatin district councillor Raymond Sai-hung Li received a warning from the government's Housing Authority, regarding the use of his office as a polling station. The letter claims that the district councillor's office cannot be used for matter unrelated to the district council.
One day before the election, the police stormed in the office of Hong Kong Public Opinion Research Institute (#HKPORI) in an attempt to seize their computers.
