Rome Center's "SustainabITALY" project, led by Francesca Riccardo, explores sustainable architecture's impact. Originally built in 1969 to house teachers, the Les Cases dels Mestres building near La Floresta School fell into disuse but remained significant to the local community. A neighborhood movement eventually led to its rehabilitation as cooperative social housing.
