Everyone, we are happy to announce that the final Silos beta round is now live for the testing group.
We have fixed quite a few minor bugs in the contracts and refined the UI in many areas (based on previous feedback).
We are very happy with it.

The one major addition is the new referrals system. You'll now be able to copy your referral link and send to others.
You'll earn 10% of all of admin fees collected by the Silo in real time, sent straight to your wallet.

We have also now set an launch date internally, pending marketing with partners and collaborators and that will be announced once we have all of our partners confirm things on their end.

We are pleased to announce that the first GFI Governance Token vote will commence from next Friday 17th February 2023.
This will be first of many voting opportunities moving forward as the Gravity Finance project transitions into a DAO, handing strategic decisions to the Gravity community and GFI Governance Token holders.

This first vote will be for a change to tokenomics, specifically how the Admin Fees are managed and distributed to GFI holders.
We have taken on a lot of feedback over the previous few weeks and will put together a list of options that suit the common themes that we have heard from the community.

This vote will use the SnapShot DApp and you will need to have your GFI in a personal wallet to participate in the voting.
More details will follow later this coming week about this, but the snapshot will be taken some time on Friday 17th February 2023.

All Project wallets (treasury, farm allocation etc) and initial founders allocations (25m each) will abstain from voting.

We've had reports of a fake Facebook account posting about Gravity stuff. See screenshot posted in our Discord by GFI_T warning people to be careful.

At 10pm EST 9th March there is a Polygon Spaces event on Twitter Spaces, the intention is to make this into a weekly spaces event to highlight projects in the space and discuss what is happening in DeFi etc. The event is hosted by Quickswap with special guests, the one on 9th March 10pm EST is the first of many and will have a lot of guest joining. Gravity Finance will be in attendance, time allowing we may speak. These events are always recorded so if you can't make the live you should be able to catch up with the recorded event too.

The TL;DR is that we've had some changes in strategies that require us to re-work things and they simply won't be ready before 27th March, this has impacted on other updates to the main site and marketing efforts.

We are pretty confident everything will be ready end of next week for the launch, but we've pushed it out to the 17th April to ensure we also have ample time to test the new/refactored strategies and have additional time to work on marketing/cross marketing with our partners and collaborators.

GFI_T and GFI_D had a good call this morning with Aragon DAO to discuss the required code/token changes to be able to use their DAO Tooling for Gravity Finance DAO. Their dev-team are currently going over our token code and fee-distribution structure, as well as some of our vault-code to see what changes will be required (if any) and then we will be able to decide on the best-path forward with regards to the transition to a full DAO.


Further, as per the ⁠announcements channel (on Discord), the latest Governance Proposal (using Snapshot) is now live.
Token-holder addresses "Snapshot" was taken over the weekend and voting is now open, voting ends 3rd December 11pm UTC, so make sure to read the proposal and vote.

A lot of the Silo Strategies utilise Gamma, so as a precaution we're suggesting everyone exit (unwind LP) and withdraw their assets from Silos if you have one that is using Gamma in the strategy itself
