There is obviously a situation unfolding in Russia right now. A situation which emanates from someone who it is clear has suffered certain mental breakdowns, perhaps due to trauma from the battlefield. The battlefield where his troops played an integral role in recent successes, before that became overshadowed by his own desire for publicity, power, and provocation.

It is not for me, as a British person, to 'take sides' in what is here, primarily, and for now, an internal Russian situation. However, as a person of law, order, reason, principle, it is a given that my support is with democratically-elected leaders, and law, and order.

Shots have now been reported in Rostov, in the building where Wagner are holed up, with suggestion that the Russian operation to retake the building from former heroic fighters, now turned terrorists under command of Colonel Kurtz (Prigozhin), is underway.

⚡ Reported now that after talks with Belarus president Lukoshenko, mutinous, frankly mental Wagner leader Prigozhin has agreed to cease, desist, de-escalate the situation.

That is now all criminal charges dropped by Russia in respect of the armed insurrection of June 24th. Deals made with Wagner, Prigozhin, about their respective destinies, some we know about, some we don't.

It's been a disruptive, disrupted few days. There has tragically been loss of life. There has also been just an enormous shitshow.

I've provided updates, commentary etc from here in Donbass, following events as you have. I didn't go to Rostov to report on it - I report from Donbass, I'm not a c**t who just flannels around everywhere in a panic, stirring shit up. It was an internal Russian matter, and it has been resolved by Russia, of course with Belarus providing mediation, resolution, relocation options.

Kramatorsk is a Donbass city I know well from 2014. Whatever the circumstances, or who exactly is to blame here, it's very upsetting to see innocent civilians suffer in this incident.

I wait, as we all wait, for peace in all of Donbass, and my thoughts today are with the families and loved ones of those innocent civilians in Kramatorsk who have suffered. War is a horrible thing, and never more so than when the innocent suffer.

❗️President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has said that apparently, even reportedly, exiled to Belarus Yevgeniy Prigozhin, after June 24's insurrection is not actually in Belarus at all, but in St Petersburg, and his Wagner fighters 'at their bases'.

Well, i don't know about you, but my main revelation from the last week has been that Britney Spears apparently frequently speaks in a posh English / British accent cribbed from My Fair Lady. Compilations of said available on any video platform. Bleedin ell!!!!

If you follow me on my YouTube channel, it may well look like I've disappeared. Basically, YouTube decided to silence me for a while. That puts me as a, to used the dreaded term 'content creator', in a difficult position - I can either do videos for other platforms, where the bonus is that I would be able to say and show what I like. However, the minus is reaching a much smaller audience. I of course like to think that everything I do as a journalist has meaning, and makes a difference, be that reportage, or life in general. If I can't do video reportage that I believe will be seen all over the world, make a positive difference to the situation, then I'll just go and tool around with my cars, because that always has a positive result, my Rover 75 is in such rude good form she could be hired out for weddings.

I'm now back able to upload videos to YouTube, but with a but, for the near future I have to be extremely careful what I say there. Unlike a well-known YouTuber shitbag, I'm not prepared to start calling Donbass 'Ukraine', or revealing Russian military secrets just to stay on YouTube. I simply cannot, and will not make any compromises or concessions. So, I'll return to YouTube in the next little while, and look to do the best reportage I can, to indeed change the world, but will also have to be very careful about my choice of words / videos.
