Phantom Vibration Syndrome: that strange feeling your phone buzzes when it actually didnโ€™t. ๐Ÿ“ต

A 2012 study showed that 89% of people experience this at least once every two weeks. Our brains get so used to notifications that they sometimes create false signalsโ€”a modern psychological phenomenon also known as "textaphrenia" or "ringxiety."

This tactile hallucination happens because the brain misinterprets sensory input, highlighting just how deeply technology has embedded itself in our lives.

The African Black Eagle ๐Ÿฆ… typically will lay two eggs ๐Ÿฅš. After they hatch ๐Ÿฃ, the mother will just feed one of the chicks ๐Ÿฅ. The other chick is usually pecked to death by the other chick while the mother looks on. This is a behavior known as siblicide. The parents do not intervene.

A study of 1,160 men found that nose size can predict penis size. Larger noses were linked to longer penises. Penis length was also related to lower BMI. Penis circumference was linked to body weight and testicle size. Height, weight, foot size, and testosterone were measured, but nose size and BMI were key for length.
This study supports the old myth about nose and penis size.

On August 9, 1565, in St. Augustine, Florida, early rules about race and ancestry were made. These rules said if a person had any African blood, they were considered Black. This idea is known as the One-Drop Rule. It was used later in laws to decide who was Black or White.

California trucks 1.5 million to 2.6 million bee hives each spring to pollinate almond farms. Pesticides and fungicides used on almonds hurt beesโ€™ health and make it hard for them to find food. Bees also get stressed from long trips and losing their honey. These problems cause many bees to die or disappear. Almonds are pasteurized, which lowers their natural quality. Reducing almond farming could help protect bees and the environment by making almonds rarer. ๐Ÿ๐ŸŒฐ๐Ÿš›๐ŸŒฑ

A strange believe in Russia is to avoid whistling indoors. According to belief, doing so will "whistle away" your money, leaving you broke. This superstition likely originates from old folk traditions that associated whistling with mischievous spirits that could bring bad luck.
