VICTORY DAY: China’s🇨🇳 overlooked role in World War 2:

China lost 20 MILLION people during WW2, second only to the Soviet Union which lost 27 million people.

Between 400K-700K of Imperial Japan’s soldiers were killed by Chinese forces resisting Japanese occupation.

Imperial Japan’s occupation of China during WW2 was one of the greatest atrocities in human history. Some of the worst horrors included:

Nanjing Massacre (1937–1938)

Approximately 200,000–300,000 Chinese civilians and surrendered soldiers murdered in six weeks. Mass rape, beheadings, live burials, and executions were carried out systematically.

Unit 731 Biological Experiments

Thousands of Chinese civilians and prisoners were subjected to vivisection without anesthesia, plague testing, frostbite experiments, and chemical weapons testing. Historians estimate 10,000+ died directly in the experiments, while biological warfare campaigns caused up to 200,000 additional civilian deaths.

Three Alls Policy (“Kill All, Burn All, Loot All”)

Japanese counterinsurgency campaign across northern China that destroyed villages and massacred civilians. Chinese estimates place the death toll at 2.7 million civilians.

Forced Labor and Slave Camps

Millions of Chinese civilians were used as forced labor under brutal conditions. Hundreds of thousands died from starvation, torture, disease, and executions.

Chemical and Biological Warfare

Imperial Japan repeatedly used poison gas and biological weapons against Chinese troops and civilians despite international bans. Tens of thousands were killed directly, with epidemics spreading far wider.

Mass Sexual Slavery (“Comfort Women”)

An estimated 100,000–200,000 women, many Chinese and Korean, were forced into military sexual slavery by the Japanese Army.

Zhejiang-Jiangxi Campaign (1942)

After the Doolittle Raid, Japanese forces massacred civilians accused of helping American airmen. Around 250,000 Chinese civilians were killed.

Marco Rubio🇺🇸:

‘A nuclear-armed Iran could do whatever the hell they want with the Strait of Hormuz.’

Can someone inform Rubio that Iran is doing whatever they want with the Strait of Hormuz without nuclear weapons, because of the pointless war started by the US & Israel?

Iran now has the power to cause economic Armageddon precisely because of the hubris of Washington’s neocon circus.

🚨US Economist Richard Wolff: 'The US🇺🇸 must Live and let live with India🇮🇳, China🇨🇳 and Russia🇷🇺…or we DESTROY OURSELVES.'

'A part of our leadership will strike out in a way that befits a desperate hegemon, when the empire they've presided over for the last century is in decline.

But there is another perspective inside the United States — we ought to face the decline and come to terms with it. Make a live and let live arrangement with India, China, Russia and so on, so we don't destroy ourselves.

The question is which of these two tendencies will prevail. If you ask my opinion, I think it's the bad one. Because that's what the Iran war really is. A desperate attempt, not well thought through and therefore unsuccessful, to stop where the world seems to be going.'

‘We already live in a post-American🇺🇸 and a post-Western world. We’re in a world where the BRICS countries are larger than the G7 countries…the US is a quarter of a century out of date’

-Prof. Jeffrey Sachs

The US can either accept its imperial decline and loss of hegemony, and benefit from spending more on the American people at home rather than on war and empire abroad…

Or it can continue lashing out violently with more wars in a futile attempt to save its hegemony, destabilising itself, and the world.

Unfortunately, the US will likely choose the second option, and accelerate its own decline.

🚨US Economist Richard Wolff: 'The war on Iran🇮🇷 is not another war. The WHOLE GLOBE is being REARRANGED.’

There’s going to be all kinds of adjustments. Every large corporation involved in global trade is having to rethink. Will we use the ocean in the future? Will we use railroad? Will we use trucking? Will we localise production? Those are all very big decisions that weren’t on the agenda before and have now been put on the agenda.

What the Iran war is teaching people across the United States and globally is what the Iranians did in the Strait of Hormuz can be done by Indonesia in the Strait of Malacca — and in many different parts of the world.

We're going to be talking, in 20 years, about a very big change in where production happens, where it's distributed, how the whole global economy is organised.

This is not another war, even in the way that Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq or even Ukraine might be considered. This one is rearranging the whole globe. And we will be talking about it for a long time.'

🚨Economic Armageddon is about to be unleashed:

Global oil inventories are plummeting at a record pace in an attempt to stop oil prices from skyrocketing further because of the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

With a few more weeks of the emptying of oil inventories, the ability to keep oil prices even slightly suppressed vanishes.

What follows will be industrial collapse, supply chains in chaos, nations facing economic breakdown, and a global depression.

The fruits of the Trump-Netanyahu war on Iran.

ICYMI: ‘I thought oil would go up to $200, $250, maybe $300’—President Trump

‘It’s like at $102 and that’s a very small price to pay.’

Every $10 increase in oil prices knocks roughly 0.2%–0.5% off GDP growth over the following year or two in oil-importing economies.

Brent Crude in February was priced at between $69-71 a barrel. Brent Crude is now over $100 a barrel. Do the math, and already the world is already about to face a catastrophic economic crisis.

If the oil price increases to $200 a barrel, it will be nothing short of economic Armageddon.

Donald Trump thinks a global economic depression is a price worth paying for his war on Iran for Israel.

With global oil inventories plummeting, and the ability to artificially suppress oil prices vanishing by the day, $200-$300 oil is not very far away.

🚨US Economist Richard Wolff: 'Corporate America broke the supply chain then BLAMED China🇨🇳, India🇮🇳 and Brazil🇧🇷.'

'Starting in the 1970s, American corporations moved manufacturing out of the United States. No one held a gun to their heads. No one required it. They went because it was profitable to go.

If they were honest, they would tell the American people: we have long supply lines because it profited us to move production from Chicago, St. Louis, New York and Boston to Shanghai. We're making out like bandits.

They didn't want to say that, because the anger of the people would have turned on the corporations. So leading politicians, including Mr. Trump, constantly talked as though the decision was made by China, India or Brazil, removing the key decision maker from the story.

That way, Trump can portray the United States as the victim of this process rather than the perpetrator. The real victim has been the American working class, which lost its jobs and incomes because cheaper workers were available elsewhere.'

Why China🇨🇳 succeeded through globalisation and America🇺🇸 declined:

‘In America you can change the political parties but you can’t change the policy. In China, you cannot change the party but you can change the policies.

China is a vibrant market economy but it is not a capitalist economy. There’s no way a group of billionaires could control the politburo, as billionaires control US policymaking. So in China, you have a vibrant market economy, but capital does not rise above political authority.’

—Chinese venture capitalist Eric Li

Through globalisation, the US’ corporations made record profits, to a level never before seen in history. As did China’s. But why do China’s cities look like dazzling examples of the future, while America’s cities look like shells of their former selves?

Because in China🇨🇳, the Communist Party’s political control made sure that the record profits were used for national development, the liberation of hundreds of millions from poverty, the uplifting of living standards, and the development of the best infrastructure on Earth.

In the US🇺🇸, the oligarchs’ control over the political system ensured that the enormous wealth that was created was hoarded by the oligarch class in private hands, rather than spent on the development of the country and improving the lives of the American people.

🚨Prof. Richard Wolff: ‘Trump CANNOT defeat Iran. If he cannot prevail against Iran🇮🇷, he LOSES support of the oligarchs that made him President.’

'Trump's political support has been shrinking fast. What remains is a mass base of the extreme right wing, maybe 10, 15, possibly 20% of the country. The rest is very iffy.

The other big supporter is the business class. So far, he has been wonderful for them. His first major legislation was the tax cut of 2017. His first legislation in his second presidency was the big, beautiful tax bill. His priorities are obvious. He takes care of the people who fund his campaign.

He will remain President as long as the business community sees him as a net positive. But if he cannot prevail in Iran, and from where I sit in New York, he can't. He has neither the military nor any other mechanism to defeat Iran at this point. If that is the outcome, he risks losing the support of major parts of the oligarchy.'

Donald Trump🇺🇸: Iran are defeated, but that doesn’t mean they’re done. We could go in for two more weeks and do every single target.

According to reports, the CIA told Trump that Iran retains 70% of its pre-war missile inventory and 75% of mobile missile launchers.

Despite over 13,000 strikes by the United States, Iran still retains its powerful missile arsenal and can retaliate with full strength against the US and Israel.

Spinning this somehow as a US victory is a ridiculous farce to mask a war of abject failure.

Meanwhile, Benjamin Netanyahu blames the increasing disgust for Israel in the United States on the rise of social media, and dismisses Israel’s abhorrent genocide in Gaza and crimes in the occupied West Bank as ‘mistakes’.

The reason Israel is despised by most of the world is because people can see with their own eyes on a daily basis the gleeful genocidal fever of Israelis as they committed genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.

They can see the pure sadism of Israeli settlers as they attack Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and steal their land.

Israel isn’t ‘besieged’ on the propaganda front because of mistakes being exploited, it’s because the global population isn’t stupid and can see that genocidal sadism is deliberate Israeli state policy.
