If Sir Keir Starmer has truly grown a backbone, he would use his voice to be on the record against this looming disaster, instead of sitting on the sidelines as Washington's quiet secretary, cowering in fear over the consequences of criticising the master.
The GCC, the wider Middle East, and the majority of nations are alarmed by the prospect of this war. If Sir Keir Starmer doesn't publicly oppose this war, most of the world will view the UK as nothing but a useless satrapy that can do nothing but publicly voice 'concerns' and 'monitoring the situation'.
If Sir Keir Starmer is forced to U-Turn (his speciality) and allows the US to once again flagrantly violate international law, or goes even further to show his loyalty by participating in the war, then he will be an even more hopeless, unpopular, and failed Prime Minister than he already is.
