‘HOMELAND OR DEATH!’
-On this day in 1964, Argentine revolutionary Che Guevara delivers his famous speech to the UN General Assembly, denouncing US imperialism and expressing Latin America’s defiant resistance to Washington’s attempts at dominating the continent.
Compare this anti-imperialist defiance to the cowardice of Maria Corina Machado, who is nothing but an asset of the CIA and a spokeswoman for US corporations wanting to loot the largest oil reserves on Earth in Venezuela🇻🇪.

Venezuelan🇻🇪 society, including Maduro’s opposition, are UNITED against US🇺🇸 intervention
‘One of the effects precisely of these hostilities that we have seen increase in the last several weeks has been a sense of national unity.
Even some sectors of the Venezuelan opposition that have opposed President Maduro, don’t see themselves as socialists, et cetera, they are also questioning this idea of the possibility of an intervention against Venezuela from a foreign power.
I think there’s not a sense of panic. This I think is important to say. I mean, the population of Venezuela is carrying on their everyday lives, but everybody is cautious because everybody understands the history of the United States intervention in Latin America.
Everybody knows of the possibility of an intervention, a coup, all these things that have gone on in the past. But there’s a sense of rejection to this.
There’s a sense that if we have problems within Venezuela, it is up to Venezuelans to solve them, not for a foreign power to intervene.’

US🇺🇸 DEA’s own statistics PROVE Trump’s narco-trafficking pretext for regime change against Venezuela🇻🇪 is a LIE
‘Even the DEA’s own assessment on drug trafficking shows that 87% of drug trafficking going to the United States goes through the Pacific Ocean, and Venezuela doesn’t have a coast on the Pacific Ocean.
This idea that Venezuela could be the real source of the problems that the US has with the war on drugs, or the whole issue of drug trafficking, is absurd.
They’ve spent the last 50 years in this so-called war on drugs, spent over a trillion dollars trying to curtail it. And the result is that right now there’s more drug consumption and drug distribution within the United States.
What it has been used for, though, is the displacement of local populations, not only in Venezuela. We’re seeing this happen in Colombia and other places in South America.
They’ve used the pretext of the war on drugs to intervene inside these countries, to displace populations from important resources and land, always with an ulterior motive, not the real motive of trying to attack drugs.’

Venezuela’s🇻🇪 Former Deputy Foreign Minister for North America: Achievements of the Bolivarian Revolution is the source of Venezuela’s STRENGTH
‘The strength of Venezuela is precisely having been able to take care of our people.
The fact that the Venezuelan government still stands throughout all these years of the tide is because there was a true commitment to social policy, a true commitment to eradicate literacy, a true commitment to social programmes, to have access to education, to have access to medicine, even in times of economic sanctions.
And now it’s because of that, that you have people willing to defend the country in the case of an aggression.
You had over 8 million people go to the streets and sign up for a militia. And I don’t think that’s a small number. I don’t think that’s a small figure.
I think that’s a reflection of people not wanting their country to be attacked and to be pushed around.
And I think that, you know, precisely having a commitment to a policy that’s not neoliberal exploitation is what has allowed Venezuela to survive, or to weather, all these hybrid war attacks against them over the last four years.’

🇻🇪Despite one of the most aggressive sanctions regimes in modern history, the Bolivarian Revolution’s staggering achievements are not mentioned in mainstream media:
Before the escalation of US sanctions (1999–2013), Venezuela cut overall poverty from around 49% to 27%, and extreme poverty from roughly 23% to under 8%. During the same period, income inequality fell sharply, with the Gini coefficient dropping from about 0.49 to 0.39, one of the largest reductions in Latin America.
Venezuela achieved a literacy rate of around 98%, and in 2005 UNESCO officially declared the country free of illiteracy. More than 2.8 million adults learned to read and write through Mission Robinson. University enrolment more than doubled between 1999 and 2014, expanding access to higher education for working-class and poor communities for the first time.
In healthcare, the Bolivarian government built around 13,000 primary care clinics under the Barrio Adentro programme, deploying tens of thousands of doctors, many in underserved rural and urban areas that previously had none. Infant mortality fell from about 21 per 1,000 births in 1998 to around 13 by 2012, and life expectancy rose to roughly 72 years, a figure maintained even during years of economic siege. In some US counties life expectancy is in the 50s.
On food security, Venezuela reduced malnutrition by around 40% between 1999 and 2012 and was removed from the FAO hunger map in 2013. Mass subsidised food programmes later became critical buffers preventing mass hunger once sanctions began to restrict imports and financial transactions.
Housing is one of the most striking achievements. Since 2011, over 4.5 million homes have been built under the Gran Misión Vivienda programme, providing free or near-free housing to millions of low-income families. This is one of the largest public housing programmes in the world, prioritising women-headed households and the poorest sectors.
Social security was massively expanded. Pension coverage rose from around 20% of the population to over 70%, including informal workers and homemakers who had previously been excluded entirely.
Politically, Venezuela has held over 30 national elections and referenda since 1999, alongside the creation of around 45,000 communal councils, embedding mass participation at the local level.
These achievements and the example it provided of an alternative to disastrous neoliberalism made Washington put Venezuela under siege. Since 2017, Venezuela has faced over 900 unilateral sanctions, $30–40 billion in frozen or seized assets, restrictions on oil exports, blocked access to international banking, and severe obstacles to importing food and medicine.
Despite the unprecedented economic attack, the state did not collapse. Free education and healthcare continued. Millions of pensions continued to be paid. Now threatened with an imperialist war, over 8 million Venezuelans voluntarily registered for the national militia.

🚨If the US🇺🇸 thinks Venezuela🇻🇪 will be an easy target, it’s in for a BIG SURPRISE- Venezuela’s Former Deputy Foreign Minister for North America
‘As long as we have oil wealth and other mineral wealth, Venezuela is always going to be a target of the United States, of large multinational corporations, etc.
I understand the United States has military superiority…but to think that Venezuela is an easy target, that Venezuela is someplace that you can come in and just take over, you’re up for a surprise. I think there’s a long history here of resistance, of morale to resist attacks.
I think we have seen also the tragic sort of interventions that the United States has done even in recent years. I mean, you could go back to Vietnam and remember how tragic that was. But even Afghanistan, Iraq, all these more recent interventions have shown that if you don’t have the support of local populations, if there isn’t some sort of other arrangement, you’re not going to be successful.
I mean, after 20 years of the disaster they caused in Afghanistan, they had to leave without accomplishing anything.
That’s horrible for our people in the sense that, of course, if something like that comes to happen, and I really wish that it doesn’t come to happen — it’s going to be hurtful for the Venezuelan people. But I think they have to think twice about what really is at stake and how this is going to affect the stability of the United States.
We’re not hundreds or thousands of miles away. We’re really close to the United States. And it could have a terrible effect for its economy, even for its own base.
I mean, if you look at the base that supports President Trump right now, a lot of the criticism that is coming is precisely from its own base, who were promised that there would be no more forever wars.’

🇻🇪Maria Corina Machado: From one of Venezuela’s richest elite families, now masquerading as a freedom fighter
‘Maria Corina Machado is a representative of the Venezuelan elite. She has been so throughout her political life, and she has strived against the democratic process that was being carried out here in Venezuela.
Her family is one of the wealthiest families that helped maintain a system of exclusion to the masses here in Venezuela.
So now she pretends to be this sort of freedom fighter or democracy fighter, but she has been probably one of the most hard-line people in the Venezuelan opposition.
Is she a terrorist? Refusing dialogue with the government. Oh, I think she has promoted actions of terrorism, because she has called — I mean, she was one of the promoters of what we call the guarimbas, which were violent protests both in 2014 and 2017.
And you know that the result of these protests were, you know, around over 40 people dead. You know, people that were burned alive because of their skin colour, because they said, “Oh, this person is Afro-descendant, he must be a Chavista, you must go out and kill them.”
She wrote to the Security Council, when Argentina and Israel were members of the Security Council, l asking for an intervention on Venezuela, with a military intervention from the Security Council.
I don’t understand how you could be for peace and ask for foreign governments to invade your own country militarily. That, to me, doesn’t make sense.
So I guess that yes, if Kissinger is there, if Obama’s there, then I guess I’m the one not understanding what the word “peace” means in the Peace Prize.’

Hugo Chavez🇻🇪: ‘They are cowards. They bomb innocent people…how cowardly is the army of Israel to attack an innocent, sleeping, resting people, and they claim to be defending their people.’
Meanwhile CIA Asset Maria Corina Machado pledged to move Venezuela’s Embassy in Israel to occupied Jerusalem, if she installed in Miraflores as the leader of Venezuela by the US and Israel.
Now can you see why the US and Israel have wanted to see the Bolivarian Revolution destroyed?

🚨CIA Whistleblower John Kiriakou on the CIA’s history of drug trafficking
‘There’s a popular Netflix television series called Narcos. And Narcos is based on the true story of the hunt for Pablo Escobar, the hunt for the Cali cartel, the hunt for one of the Mexican cartels.
And over the course of three seasons, every time the Drug Enforcement Administration gets close to its primary target, the CIA station chief steps in and ruins the investigation. That is true.
That happens in real life because the CIA doesn’t care about drugs. It cares about terrorism. It cares about communism. For what that’s worth.
There’s always some other bigger ism that the CIA is concerned about. And so it was perfectly happy to allow cocaine to flood into the United States in the 1980s during the Iran-Contra affair, just as it was perfectly happy to allow Afghanistan to provide 93% of the world’s heroin once the United States began its occupation of Afghanistan.’

CIA Whistleblower John Kiriakou on the CIA’s power over Hollywood:
‘The CIA has set up a branch within the Office of Public Affairs whose job is solely to cooperate with Hollywood studios, just like the FBI has been doing since the 1950s.
The CIA works with Hollywood studios to make sure that everything that comes out of Hollywood has a pro-CIA message.
You know, technically it’s illegal for the CIA to propagandise the American people, but that’s what happens every time a CIA-related film is released. It’s propaganda.
Indeed, the movie Zero Dark Thirty broke all kinds of laws. The director, Catherine Bigelow, and the writer Mark Boal were given classified briefings over a classified mock-up of the Osama bin Laden compound.
They were given classified briefings by CIA Counterterrorism Center analysts, and in exchange they gave those analysts watches and free tickets to the premiere of the film.
Well, they should all be in prison for that. Technically that’s a violation of the Espionage Act. Instead, the film was celebrated as a victory at the CIA.’
