🚨OVER 90% OF CHINA’S🇨🇳 CITIZENS TRUST THEIR GOVERNMENT, LEVELS UNHEARD OF IN THE WEST

‘Over the past few years, several major studies by Western institutions have found incredible levels of popular support for China’s government and its political-economic system.

The World Values Survey, based in Sweden and Austria, consistently shows that over 90% of people in China say they trust the government. Harvard University’s Ash Center for Democratic Governance, which is not pro-China, in fact anti-China, finds similarly high levels of satisfaction with the national government, reaching over 90%.

The Danish NGO Alliance for Democracies found that 91% of people in China say their government serves the interests of the people rather than elites, much higher than the U.S., France, or Britain.

A new study published in Political Psychology recently found that China was the only country where people at least somewhat agree that their political-economic system is fair.

These are striking results. The Chinese people clearly have a much higher regard for their system than Western media assumes. There’s strong state legitimacy there.

That’s not to say China has no internal contradictions or problems, every country does. But this data shows China is doing something right that deserves attention.

Much of this likely stems from dramatic improvements in people’s material conditions over the past decade, huge reductions in poverty, wage increases, better health outcomes, expanded public services, and a crackdown on elite corruption.

The government has also focused on building out grassroots democracy and more responsive feedback systems. There have been big improvements, and the world should pay attention.’

‘US support for Israel goes back to the 1960s, during a time when Arab nationalism and Arab socialism were extremely popular in the region and gaining substantial traction. These were movements toward national liberation and economic sovereignty.

The US considered this to be a problem, because it knew that it would mean Middle Eastern countries would have more control over their own resources and production, which of course means their resources would not be so cheaply available for Western firms and Western profits.

So the US wanted to intervene, to crush this tendency, and they used Israel to do it. This is a decades-long project. They armed Israel to run operations all across the region to decapitate national liberation movements and destroy these tendencies.

In this sense, Israel is not an ally of the US in a conventional way, but rather a kind of proxy force, a military proxy force. The US knows that a liberated Palestine would mean the end of this proxy arrangement and ultimately the end of US control in the region.

A liberated Palestine means a liberated Middle East, and this is something the US is not willing to accept. They see the Middle East as the centre of the world, the hinge of Africa, Asia, and Europe.

The idea of liberation and sovereignty in that region is antithetical to Western economic interests. So we have to understand the genocide in this broader context.

Clearly now with the ceasefire, it’s clear that the Western political classes are trying to get us to forget about the genocide and normalise Israel. But it’s crucial that we insist this cannot be allowed to happen.

The only acceptable approach is to isolate Israel until the genocidal government is dismantled, the perpetrators have been jailed, and the occupation and apartheid are ended. The settlements, of course, also have to be removed.

We have to keep all of this in mind, and reject the discourse toward normalisation.’

The campaign is one of US imperial domination. The US stopping the liberation of Palestine at all costs and backing Israel to the hilt is part of Washington’s agenda for hegemonic domination of the Middle East.

The campaign against China is to sabotage and destroy an alternative economic system and a competitor that is increasingly surpassing the United States.

CHINA🇨🇳 IS ECONOMICALLY LEAPFROGGING THE WEST, HOW?

‘China has made absolutely extraordinary gains in renewable energy production and EV production and high speed rail production, absolutely leapfrogging what the US🇺🇸 and Western Europe have been able to achieve.

Now this is remarkable. This is causing people in Washington and London to scratch their heads like how did China manage to do this?

The reason is because China has public control over the financial system and so it can align finance and investments with the national development plans.

It also has credit guidance policies. And so China can direct its incredible financial power towards what is most important for society and for the planet rather than just what is most important for capital.

And that’s what’s enabled them to make these incredible developments in industries that are not necessarily the most profitable.

And so I think that we can learn from basic industrial policy that China is implementing. I think that everyone’s paying attention to this, certainly across the Global South, states are realising the need for industrial policy along these lines.’

China🇨🇳 has already surpassed the US🇺🇸 and the vassal European Union:

China accounts for 70% of global electric vehicle production.

China installed 256 GW of solar capacity in the first half of 2025, more than twice as much of the rest of the world combined.

China has the largest high-speed rail network on Earth, with over 48,000KM of track by the end of 2024. China aims to reach 50,000KM of track in 2025. The US barely has any high speed rail.

China produced around 80% of the world’s solar panels.

According to data from the National Energy Administration, China had constructed more than 94,000 dams by December 2024, by far the largest number globally.

While the US focus on spending hundreds of billions on war and destruction, and Europe’s sole purpose seemingly being to bark whenever Washington tells it to…China is easily the superpower of the 21st century.

However, if China underestimates the capacity and appetite of Washington for bringing war and destruction to China, all these incredible achievements are at risk.

US🇺🇸 WANTS TO DESTROY MADURO TO GAIN CHEAP ACCESS TO VENEZUELA’S🇻🇪 OIL RESERVES

‘In terms of the sanctions, Trump put sanctions on Venezuela back in 2017. That’s when they started. And they’ve just been ratcheted up since then.

Now we have data from economists showing that in the first year of the sanctions, as you pointed out, they killed 40,000 people. This is very devastating, totally destabilising on the economy, causing massive hunger, humanitarian crisis.

It’s forced millions of people to leave the country because life is becoming so difficult there. The purpose of these sanctions is not some kind of exercise of soft power. It is very clearly aimed at destabilising the country, destabilising the government, making the economy scream.

And now the US is openly talking about wanting to invade Venezuela. And to justify this, they’ve built up this incredible propaganda narrative that came out of nowhere, claiming that the President of Venezuela is a narco-terrorist who runs a drug smuggling gang.

But these claims have been very thoroughly debunked by scholars, including within the United States itself. Even key institutes in the US government reject these claims.

We know that Venezuela is not a cocaine-producing nation. Only about 5% of the drugs trafficked to the US are even routed through Venezuela, the vast majority go up by the Pacific.

So this is really a non-entity when it comes to the so-called US war on drugs. It’s clear that this narrative is a ruse, designed as a PR narrative.

The reality is that the US wants to destroy the Venezuelan government primarily because they want cheap access to its extraordinary oil reserves, the largest in the world, larger than Saudi Arabia’s, and because they see Venezuela as a sovereign-seeking nation.

And that is something they are always against. They always immediately try to target and sanction nations motivated by that tendency.’

PALESTINE’S🇵🇸 MANDELA: Marwan Barghouti’s son joins us for Monday’s Going Underground

‘Any Western leader that wants to bring peace and stability in the region, they must support the release of my father.

My father represents a positive force for unifying the Palestinian people into a vision, a political vision that is accepted by the international community. The international community keeps claiming that they support a political settlement, they support coexistence, they support peace, they support a two-state solution, and so on.

Okay, here you have the most popular Palestinian leader who is trusted by the Palestinian people, who has a political vision. And to prove that, if you go back to 2006, he’s the one who initiated the Prisoners’ Document, which is one of the most important documents in Palestinian political history, because it was the only document signed by all Palestinian factions, including Hamas and Islamic Jihad, that stated on three main points.

The first is the creation and establishment of the Palestinian state on the ’67 borders. The second is limiting resistance to within the ’67 borders. And the third is that the targeting of civilians is forbidden, regardless of where they are.

And I think that a Palestinian leader who has all that credibility and legitimacy among the Palestinian people, to come and say that, is a great opportunity for the international community to seize it and to prove that the recognition of Palestine is not only symbolic, but that they are willing to take steps on the ground.

And I can argue that releasing my father can advance that. And I’m really encouraged by the statement by President Trump that he’s thinking about it and that he knows who he is.’

Maduro refers to the long list of Latin American dictators and coup leaders who received US training.

Veteran CIA asset and the Nobel Peace Prize Winner who advocates for bombing her own country brags about being hard at work advertising the fire sale of her country’s natural resources to global mega corporations, saying “Venezuela🇻🇪 has become sexy.”

She begs the US to bomb her own country, and then salivates at the prospect of mega corporations swooping in for a disaster capitalism profit bonanza, while Venezuelans suffer war and becoming subjects of a vassal state.

CIA Asset Maria Corina Machado blames socialism for Venezuela going from the richest country in Latin America, to the poorest in 20 years.

Richest for whom? Before Hugo Chavez took office, 49–50% of Venezuelans lived in poverty, and extreme poverty was around 20–23%. The richest 20% of Venezuelans controlled over 50% of total income, while the poorest 20% had less than 5%.

Chavez’ reforms improved the lives of millions of ordinary Venezuelans, then came the US’ economic warfare against the country through draconian unilateral sanctions, which impoverished the country again.

‘I haven’t hugged him in more than 23 years, almost 24 years now, because it was a few months before his imprisonment. But on another note, I haven’t seen him in three years.

I used to see him twice a month only until I turned 16. So it was only for the first three years. And then since 2006, I would see him once every two or three years. I haven’t seen him in three years. And none of the family members have seen him in three years.

After October 7th, it’s very important for people to understand what’s been happening inside Palestinian prisons. It’s the other side, or the backyard, of the genocide that is happening inside prisons.

79 Palestinian detainees have been killed inside prisons, either by beating, starvation, medical neglect, and so on. And I think that my father is part of that.

What happened to him is that they sent him to solitary confinement to punish him, even though he had nothing to do with October 7th. But as part of the collective punishment and as part of targeting him as a leader, a representative of the Palestinian people, they sent him to solitary confinement.

He was assaulted at the end of 2023, March of 2024, September of 2024. And then we just heard two weeks ago the scary and very disturbing stories from the released detainees who got exiled to Egypt…

8 prison guards, while he was shackled in his hands and legs, put him on the ground and started kicking and beating him until he lost consciousness.

He passed out for a few hours and regained it after hours when he got to Megiddo Prison. They sent him to the clinic. He had four ribs broken and severe injuries to his head, and he was sent back without any medical treatment to his cell.’

Netanyahu admitted that the leaked footage of the rape of Palestinian detainees by Israeli soldiers at Sde Teiman Prison caused "enormous damage" to Israel's image, calling it "perhaps the most severe propaganda attack" since Israel’s founding.

Netanyahu isn’t horrified by the rape of Palestinians in Israeli prisons, he’s only horrified at the consequences for Israel’s reputation.

This should tell you one thing; Israel will commit every kind of barbarism and cruelty against Palestinians, so long as they feel they can hide it and get away with it.

PALESTINE’S🇵🇸 MANDELA: Marwan Barghouti’s son details EXTRAORDINARY efforts of his father to provide university-level education to Palestinian prisoners, despite torture and solitary confinement

‘The Palestinian detainees said that while my father was recovering, barely recovered from torture, what he did is that he started to teach those prisoners through the window, talking to them, giving them classes from six to eight hours in political science, in history, in Israeli studies, and so on.

Because you need to know something about my father, in Hadarim prison, where he stayed for 18 years out of the 23 years, he started what we call the Light Academy. He sent his lawyer to the head of Jerusalem University and convinced him to give him the ability to give official degrees through sneaking the grades of the detainees while he is teaching them.

And he was a very hard teacher. Seven days a week. He doesn’t take breaks. Eight hours a day. He has a PhD in political science, so he’s eligible to teach. And he used to teach in Jerusalem University. He’s graduated more than 450 Palestinian detainees with bachelor’s degrees, more than 200 with master’s degrees in Israeli studies. He is, of course, fluent in Hebrew, Arabic, and English.

And that’s what he continued, despite all that torture, to try and teach them as good as he can. And they said that he was the one who is encouraging them, who’s lifting their spirit and so on.

And I want to recall one of my father’s favourite quotes when I say “our chains will be broken before we are.”

So I have no doubt that mentally he’s the strongest person I’ve ever known in my life. But at the same time, I’m his son and I am concerned for his life, because it’s not crazy to think that the Israeli government would harm him.’

When Marwan Barghouti was subjected to the farcical Israeli show trial, his son Arab Barghouti, who we interviewed for our latest episode, called out to him.

Marwan Barghouti’s face instantly lit up and he rose to greet his son. An elderly Israeli slapped Arab, and other Israelis tried to attack him for trying to run to hug his father. Arab Barghouti was a 12-year-old child at the time.

Marwan Barghouti’s son: ‘It took 20,000 Palestinian children to be SLAUGHTERED for Western journalists to change their tone on Palestine🇵🇸

‘When I talk to Western journalists in general about Israeli attacks on refugee camps in the occupied West Bank, they say, “Yeah, but they’re attacking terrorists.” No, I don’t think they are. They’re displacing civilians.

And the other thing, why are we calling the IDF an army, and the people that are defending under international law, defending themselves, the terrorists?

So that gives you an idea of the double standards that finally are getting exposed. And it took 20,000 Palestinian children to be slaughtered in front of the whole world for them to start changing their tone when talking about Palestine.’
