Kennedy averted disaster, with the Soviet Union agreeing to remove its missiles from Cuba, while the US pledged to not invade Cuba and promised to remove its nuclear weapons from Turkey.

Arguably, the situation today is far worse than the Cuban Missile Crisis. NATO weaponry is being fired deep into Russia via Washington’s proxy, Zelensky, a scenario that would have been unthinkable even at the height of the so-called Cold War.

One event, one strike hitting an important target in Russia, could put the world minutes away from nuclear Armageddon again.
