But why is one of the biggest auto companies in Germany outsourcing the engine manufacturing to Hungary? The answer is energy costs. Germany and its allies blew up the Nord Stream pipeline. Hungary is still buying natural gas from Russia, so their energy costs are much lower and they're more efficient producers.'

🚨🇫🇷The chaos of vassalage and neoliberal economic mediocrity

After having been appointed by French President Emmanuel Macron just over a month ago, Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu’s government resigned today, humiliatingly just hours after naming key members of his cabinet.

Macron insists on ignoring the results of the parliamentary elections, where the New Popular Front won more seats than any other party, and the result is continuing dysfunction.

France has endured total economic mediocrity after years of neoliberalism, and is a total vassal state of Washington with only symbolic flexibility in terms of foreign policy. Macron has presided over failure at home and abroad.

This is what vassalage to Washington leads to: economic failure at home, being forced to ignore the will of your own voters, and a foreign policy which doesn’t even serve your own interests.
