BREAKING: The US🇺🇸 has vetoed yet another UN Security Council Resolution calling for a ceasefire in Gaza, and unhindered access to aid.

The bloody hand of the US rises again to shut down another attempt to stop the genocidal barbarism.

Even the UK and France, traditional supporters of Israel’s genocidal barbarism, voted with Russia🇷🇺 and China🇨🇳 for the resolution.

Once again the US is exposed as the world’s primary force of war, destruction, and imperial carnage.

Whether it’s Clinton, Bush, Obama, Biden, or Trump, the power may change hands, but the barbarism never stops.

Barbarism at the Security Council:

Even the UK and France could not carry the shame of vetoing or voting against a Gaza ceasefire once again.

But the US🇺🇸, the most violent country on Earth, vetoed the resolution, allowing Israel to continue its genocidal bloodbath.

While Palestinians are shot for sport, as they desperately run through a warzone for a chance of getting a morsel of food, the entire world recoils in horror. But not the US government, whose veto allowed this monstrous barbarism to continue unimpeded.

Once again the mask is ripped off for the world to see; under the mask of rhetoric about freedom and democracy, is the real face of ruthless, bloody imperial carnage.

Palestinian, men, women, children, and babies, continue to be butchered on an industrial scale, and it is only possible because of the United States.

Brazenly, the Prime Minister’s Office didn’t even deny the claim, saying "Israel is working to defeat Hamas in various and varied ways on the recommendation of all heads of the security establishment."

Hamas cracked down on ISIS severely over the past decade. This is straight out of Israel’s usual playbook; arm extremist terrorists, and then use it as a pretext for occupation and war.

Israel did the same with Al-Qaeda in Syria, providing it support to topple Bashar Al-Assad, and now Israel uses the jihadist threat as a pretext to occupy more of Syria.

When Israel claims to be opposed to extremist terrorism to the international community, it is clear that it isn’t.

On this day in 1868, Irish Republican and socialist revolutionary James Connolly was born.

He went a step further than many Irish Republicans in not only calling for independence from British domination, but also freedom from ‘capitalism, landlords, and financiers’, realising that real independence could only be achieved if Ireland was free from the control of the British Empire’s capitalist class.

He used his position as a trade union leader to use strikes and industrial action as a pathway to a workers’ republic, using the Irish Citizen Army, formed to protect the picket lines and demonstrations of the Irish Transport and General Workers’ Union, as part of the armed struggle against Britain.

Following the failed Easter Rising of 1916 which he helped command, and the brutal crackdown to put down the uprising, James Connolly was executed by Britain, along with six other signatories of Proclamation of the Irish Republic.

The sacrifice of the Irish martyrs, executed or massacred by British forces would not be in vain, inspiring the Irish masses to participate in the struggle against British rule for Irish independence.
