The change in this map of nations’ largest trading partner shifting from the US🇺🇸 to China🇨🇳 is not remotely surprising

While the US’ destructive and chaotic foreign policy enraged the global south, which was ignored by the US, China wooed the global south with win-win cooperation. Major infrastructure deals, boosted trade in commercial goods etc.

While the US hypocritically lectured the entire world about human rights and democracy, while simultaneously bombing human rights into dust, and destroying democracies for decades…China focused simply on trade, business, and once again, win-win cooperation.

The US only has itself to blame for the loss of its power and economic influence. After the fall of the Soviet Union, the US found itself as the sole superpower in a unipolar world. It took every opportunity to use and abuse its power, despite repeated warnings that the world would turn against them and seek alternatives.

That alternative now is China.

On this day in 1925, African American revolutionary Malcolm X was born. Here he is on Palestine:

MALCOLM X DAY: In 1960, Malcolm X met with Cuban revolutionary Fidel Castro in Harlem New York.

During their conversation, Malcolm X told Fidel 'as long as Uncle Sam is against you, you know you’re a good man.'

‘No I don’t. I’m a man who believes that I died 20 years ago. I live like a man who is dead already. I have no fear whatsoever of anybody, or anything.’

Compare this to the arguably useless ‘left’ in the US today.

In the US, 6 companies control 70-80% of traditional media in 2025. They tell you which people to hate, which countries to hate, and continuously beat the drums of war leading to more imperial violence and oppression.

Malcolm X visited Gaza in 1964, as a true revolutionary like Che Guevara had done:

-He toured the Khan Younis refugee camp and witnessed the horrific living conditions for Palestinian refugees displaced by Israel

-He visited a local hospital and saw the dire lack of healthcare for Palestinians

-He met Palestinian resistance leaders from the PLO, and met the poet Harun Hashim Rashid, who shared his survival story from the 1956 Khan Younis massacre, where Israeli forces killed 275 Palestinians during the Suez Crisis.

-He prayed at a local mosque and held a press conference at Gaza’s parliamentary building

His visit inspired him to write the essay ‘Zionist logic’, which was printed in the Egyptian Gazette, in which he wrote that Zionism was a form of colonial oppression.

MALCOLM X DAY: After visiting Gaza, Malcolm X wrote the essay ‘Zionist Logic’

"In short the Zionist argument to justify Israel's present occupation of Arab
Palestine has no intelligent or legal basis in history...not even in their own religion."

This was his conclusion. Here are important excerpts from the rest of the essay:

"The Israeli Zionists are convinced they have successfully camouflaged their new kind of colonialism. Their colonialism appears to be more benevolent, more philanthropic, a system with which they rule simply by getting their potential victims to accept their friendly offers of economic aid, and other tempting gifts, that they dangle in front of the newly-independent African nations, whose economies are experiencing great difficulties."

"Did the Zionists have the legal or moral right to invade Arab Palestine, uproot its Arab citizens from their homes and seize all Arab property for themselves just based on the 'religious' claim that their forefathers lived there thousands of years ago? Only a thousand years ago the Moors lived in Spain. Would this give the Moors of today the legal and moral right to invade the Iberian Peninsula, drive out its Spanish citizens, and then set up a new Moroccan nation...as the European Zionists have done to our Arab brothers and sisters in Palestine?"

"The modern 20th century weapon of neo-imperialism is 'dollarism.’ The Zionists have mastered the science of dollarism: the ability to come posing as a friend and benefactor, bearing gifts and all other forms of economic aid and offers of technical assistance. Thus, the power and influence of Zionist Israel in many of the newly 'independent' African nations has fast-become even more unshakeable than that of the 18th century European colonialists...and this new kind of Zionist colonialism differs only in form and method, but never in motive or objective."
