'Inflation is a tax, and it's a very regressive tax. It taxes the poor more than the rich. Who gained when we had the huge inflation and money supply expansion after the pandemic? It was the rich, because the money supply got goose. When the money supply gets goosed with a lag, asset prices go up. And who owns the assets? The rich do.'

'If you looked at billionaires' wealth as a percentage of GDP in February 2020 when COVID hit, it was 14.1%. Now it's 21.1%. The billionaires made out like bandits with inflation, all the asset prices went up. Land went up, the stock market went up, and real estate went up. But the poor people took it in the ear because they don't own many assets.'
