🇷🇺🇺🇦MUST-WATCH: PUTIN IN 2020 ON UKRAINE:

On whether friendship with Zelensky is possible: ‘Hope dies last, but unfortunately he came back from Paris and asked to restructure the Minsk agreements and that’s concerning.’

On Ukrainian statehood: ‘If a significant portion of the Ukrainian population have decided to embrace their nationality, we have to only respect that and stay in reality. But we should never forget who we are and where we come from. The founding fathers of Ukrainian nationalism never said that Ukrainians had to break relations with Russians. They said Ukraine is multinational and must become a federal state and has to have good relations with Russia. Looks like modern nationalists have forgotten all of this.’

On the goal of Washington to pit Ukraine and Russia against each other: ‘Someone really far away loves dividing Ukraine and Russia. They believe this task must be accomplished. As any union between Ukraine and Russia will create a superpower which will dominate all competition.’

🚨Dr. Dmitri Trenin: Europe has NO CHOICE but to follow Washington on Ukraine🇺🇦, otherwise, they risk REAL WAR with Russia🇷🇺

'The Europeans will have no alternative but to follow Washington. They don't have resources, they don't have the will for an independent security policy or an independent foreign policy. The absence or presence of American backing for their potential risky moves in Ukraine is critical for them. So I think that they will rather not challenge Washington on that issue because Washington will be put in an uncomfortable position, when and if European forces are deployed in Ukraine, and then their locations and their bases are engaged by Russian forces.'

'Washington will face a very difficult challenge and dilemma to respond and involve themselves into a war, a real war with Russia, or abandon its European NATO allies, a choice that President Trump would certainly want to avoid.'

-Dr. Dmitri Trenin, Member of Russia's Foreign and Defence Policy Council, and former Director of the Carnegie Moscow Center, on the possibility of the UK and Western European countries deploying troops to Ukraine

'We run the world. This is America's world, he's our PROXY. This war ends when we say it ends'

Fox News lifts the mask off of US foreign policy. Zelensky was just a Washington puppet.

No room for independent thought or action by US vassals, Zelensky should have known this.

🇺🇸🇺🇦In October, Zelensky went to the election battleground state of Pennsylvania accompanied by Democrat Governor Josh Shapiro and a Democrat Senator and Congressman, and conducted a propaganda visit to an ammunition factory which was manufacturing weaponry to be sent to Ukraine.

Republicans at the time were furious and accused him of campaigning for the opposition, which was again repeated by VP J.D. Vance yesterday in the Oval Office.

How things change within a matter of months: In October 2024, Zelensky was still the vassal darling continuing to receive billions of dollars of weaponry for Washington’s proxy war against Russia. Now the vassal has outlived his usefulness, and the new Trump administration recognises the proxy war’s failure, and he was publicly humiliated and cast aside.

The flow of US aid to Ukraine may stop completely, and with it, Zelensky’s regime may completely crumble.

🚨🇷🇺🇺🇦Dr. Dmitri Trenin: European countries’ fingers are on the trigger with Ukrainian long-range strikes inside Russia

‘Strikes deep inside Russia with European missiles cannot proceed without the support of the nations that have provided those arms. So their figure is on the trigger figuratively and sometimes literally, and that calls for retribution and that calls for retribution.’

‘There have been many persistent voices in Russia that argue that Russia should not only be targeting those Ukrainians that are formally in charge of those missiles, but to deliver payback to those forces in Europe that are behind those arms and intelligence deliveries to Ukraine that enables Ukrainian forces to strike into Russia.’

🚨DR. DMITRI TRENIN: Russia🇷🇺 is trying to win back the TECHNOLOGICAL SOVEREIGNTY that the Soviet Union had

‘We can sometimes in our thinking imagine that Russia is a Soviet Union incarnate. But the Soviet Union was accountable for a fifth to a seventh of global GDP. Russia is nowhere near that point today.’

‘The Soviet Union had a mighty industry…and it had a technological complex that put Soviet science and technology close to the top of the world…we’re trying to win back the technological sovereignty that the Soviet Union had, and I think that the Ukraine proxy war has pushed us much further than we otherwise would have been able to cover towards our goals.’

🇺🇸🇺🇦The Washington Post reports that Trump is considering halting ALL military aid to Ukraine after yesterday’s public confrontation in the Oval Office

Last year, it was reported that Russia produces about 250,000 artillery munitions per month, or about 3 million a year, according to NATO intelligence estimates of Russian defense production shared with CNN. Collectively, the US and Europe have the capacity to generate only about 1.2 million munitions annually to send to Kiev.

These numbers for Russia are sure to have grown. Without US aid, Ukraine’s defensive lines that are already battered in the east of the country will collapse. Zelensky and European leaders would be delusional to think that Europe can replace the US aid to Ukraine.

Halting US aid to Ukraine may force Zelensky to immediately accept a ceasefire and begin immediate negotiations with Moscow.

Payback for the UK🇬🇧 and Europe🇪🇺; after submitting themselves as vassal states for decades, blindly following Washington’s orders and being the US’ attack dogs against Russia…

🚨TRUMP SEEKING PEACE WITH RUSSIA🇷🇺 TO FOCUS ON US EFFORTS AGAINST CHINA🇨🇳?

‘Trump and people in his administration do not regard the war in Ukraine and Russia as an existential threat to the United States, unless the US goes to war with Russia…a great many people in the American establishment and the Trump administration think that it is China that is the existential threat. The Trump administration has been suggesting that this is Trump’s Nixon to China moment in reverse, that Trump is going to go to Moscow and draw Putin away from the Russian relationship with China.’

‘There is this very foolish talk of creating a breach between Russia and China, or turning Russia into a rival of China. At the same time, a lot of Russians are worried about Russia becoming too dependent on China. That is one of the things we have to offer to Russia as an incentive to make peace with Ukraine and reduce its demands to Ukraine.’

-Prof. Anatol Lieven of the Quincy Institute joins us on Monday’s Going Underground to discuss Donald Trump’s efforts to bring the Ukraine proxy war to an end

🇬🇧🇺🇦In a summit with Zelensky and other now-panicking European vassal states, UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer says the summit’s goal is to outline a plan to stop the fighting in Ukraine and then discuss that with the United States.

Pure delusion. Starmer and these other European vassals have now deluded themselves into thinking that after screaming to keep the proxy war going for as long as it takes, that Donald Trump actually would give a moment of serious thought to what Europe has to say about the Ukraine proxy war.

This was always Washington’s proxy war, the UK and Europe were simply the attack dogs on the US’ leash. The end of the proxy war and the terms of its conclusion will be decided by Washington and Moscow.

Vladimir Putin doesn’t trust the UK’s and Europe’s leaders as far as he can throw them, so he will ignore any of their maximalist proposals. Donald Trump will be confused that the US’ loyal vassals are daring to try and formulate a plan of their own, and actually think it will get anywhere.

The ‘plan’ that these band of clowns will reach will be given to Donald Trump on a silver platter, tied up in a beautiful ribbon. Trump will take this ‘plan’ and unceremoniously throw it in the bin and continue the only serious diplomacy going on right now, which is between Washington and Moscow.

In summary, the US’ approach will be to look at this plan, toss it aside, say ‘anyway’, and continue direct negotiations with Putin. This summit is nothing but political performative pantomime for domestic political consumption in the Western European rump of Eurasia.

Sir Keir Starmer is trying to be the ‘great consequential statesman’ he thinks he is, European leaders are trying to look like they’re actually doing something of consequence while the world looks at them as vassals, and Zelensky is trying to sell a false reality to Ukrainians that it doesn’t matter if the Trump administration detests him, at least the irrelevant European leaders are on his side.

After promoting continuing the failed proxy war for as long as it takes for years, now this confusing, irrelevant performance of pretending to want peace.

🚨🇬🇧🇷🇺NO PUBLIC DEBATE IN BRITAIN OVER RUSSIA, BRITISH INTERESTS, JUST ABSOLUTE MEDIA CONSENSUS

'When it comes to European publics, what can you expect? Look at Britain. If the BBC, The Times, the Daily Telegraph, and even The Guardian and the magazines are saying exactly the same thing, and they're all basically getting their cue from government-funded think tanks which are unanimous on the same subject, you can't expect ordinary people to know any better. We talk about Russian disinformation, but if you look at Britain today, there is no public debate, there is no serious public discussion about British interests, British priorities, international realities, military realities, none of it. Really authoritarian regimes would have to work very hard to create the kind of absolute media and intellectual consensus that you see in Britain now.'

-Prof. Anatol Lieven on the media environment in the UK and the absence of public debate on Russia and the Ukraine proxy war

"If everyone wants peace, tranquility, prosperity, and trust, what’s wrong with not placing strike systems near Russia's borders? Can anyone answer?”

🇺🇦🇷🇺What could possibly be the logic for Zelensky to reject an immediate ceasefire?

Every single day, Zelensky loses more territory, loses more Ukrainian soldiers as the defensive lines collapse, and his negotiating position with Russia becomes incrementally weaker day after day.

Previously, it was obvious. Zelensky was doing the bidding of Washington, continuing the proxy war to the last Ukrainian and refusing to stop the fighting because it was Biden’s goal to bring Russia to its knees by throwing Ukrainian lives at it.

Now the US under Trump wants no part of this proxy war that has brought us close to World War 3, and is actively trying to end the proxy war as soon as possible through negotiations with Putin.

So who is Zelensky continuing this losing, failed war for? If the answer to that question is for the UK and Europe, the Island of Irrelevancy in the multipolar world, and their continued ambition of trying to use Ukraine to weaken Russia, then Zelensky is more out-of-touch and delusional than previously thought.

Europe is in no position to replace the colossal military and financial assistance provided by the US, and will never be able to. If US assistance completely halts, Ukraine’s military will eventually collapse.

So why would Zelensky waste more Ukrainian lives pursuing an even worse outcome when he could immediately freeze the battle lines and prevent the situation getting any worse?

To put it simply, the decision-making is baffling to say the least.

🚨EUROPE 'OUTSOURCED THEIR BRAINS' TO THE USA🇺🇸 OVER SECURITY AND RUSSIA🇷🇺

'From a security and strategy point of view, European countries simply outsourced their brains to Washington's bipartisan establishment, which is now ceasing to exist...it doesn't surprise me much in Germany because all of this comes out of WW2, it doesn't surprise me so much in Britain because to a great extent, the British establishment has merged with the American establishment in a subordinate role. It does surprise me somewhat that France has done this...'

'They just were not thinking, they spent the first Trump administration waiting and praying for the Democrats to come back. They came back, European countries were so delighted that they subordinated themselves completely to Biden's agenda in Ukraine...many of them refused to believe that Trump could be re-elected.'

'They trapped themselves with their rhetoric against Russia, their language about Russian threats to Europe, it's easy enough for Trump to reverse that because he wasn't in power.'
