Kuleba’s biggest fear is that Trump will withhold arms and ammunition, or put Ukraine on a starvation diet to make it more compliant if, as is likely, his peace bid doesn’t go to plan. If that happens, Kuleba warned, Kiev’s prospects will be dire.

As a result of this, he warns “The front line in the Donbas will collapse and the Russians will be at the gates of Dnipro, Poltava and Zaporizhzhia…that will be the most dangerous moment for Ukraine in this war.”

He also says Zelensky cannot sign a peace agreement; “the Russians keep the Donbas, they keep Crimea, no NATO membership. Can Zelenskyy sign? He cannot because of the Constitution. And because it will be the end of Zelensky politically.”

Kuleba is downplaying the fact that if the US stops arms supplies, Ukraine’s entire military will collapse. The longer Zelensky waits to sign a peace deal and keeps firing long-range missiles inside Russia, the more severe Russia’s retaliation will get, and the more territory Ukraine will lose.

He also warned yet again that targets within NATO countries could be hit in retaliation for the long-range strikes into Russia.

The world sits on the precipice of disaster, Washington continues to escalate the failed proxy war in a desperate attempt to milk the final drops of military-industrial complex profits before Donald Trump’s inauguration.

The result is that we are the closest we have ever been to all-out NATO-Russia war, and inevitable nuclear escalation.

For now though…Ukraine will be the one to suffer, commanded to continue the failed proxy war and escalate on behalf of NATO. One thing is clear; Vladimir Putin’s patience is wearing thin…and January 20th is still a while away. A week is a long time in geopolitics…let alone close to two months.
