We would like to thank all of you who have registered for 'The 6th Benedict Goh Malaysia Schools Mathematics Championship 2023'.
Here are some important announcements about this ongoing mathematics championship.
Mode 1 - Paper Based Competition
1. The official championship dates for paper based competition is from 8 August 2023 to 11 August 2023. However, the exact competition date and time will be chosen by each participating school and announced by the teacher-in-charges.
2. For paper-based contest, candidates will first spend 1 hour and 30 minutes to answer 30 mathematics questions and blacken their answers on paper answer sheets. After the end of the 1 hour and 30 minutes competition time, candidates will submit their answers online by using the online answer sheets provided.
3. A sample online answer sheet is now available on www.gohmaths.com. Candidates can have a look at it if they wish to know the format of the online answer sheet.
4. On the actual championship day, please DO NOT use the SAMPLE online answer sheet. Please use the online answer sheet given by your teachers. The link of the online answer sheets for Mode 1 participants has been shared with all the teacher-in-charges responsible for Mode 1 via WhatsApp on the morning of 8 August 2023 (Tuesday).
5. Candidates must submit their paper answer sheets to teachers after submitting their Online Answer Sheet.
Mode 2 - Fully Online Competition
1. For primary school, the online competition will be conducted on both 12 August 2023 (Saturday) and 13 August 2023 (Sunday). The competition time is from 10.00 am (morning) until 9.30 pm (night). Primary school participants can choose any one day only to sit for the competition.
2. For secondary school, the online competition will be conducted on 13 August 2023 (Sunday) only. The competition time is from 10.00 am (morning) until 9.30 pm (night).
3. Student can choose any 1 hour 45 minutes within the competition time to complete the competition.
4. The 'Information for Teachers (Mode 2)' and 'Information for Students (Mode 2)' has been shared with all teachers responsible for Mode 2 contest. For more information, please refer to those documents.
5. To help student to understand the competition procedure, participant can now join the test run at www.gohmaths.com. The test run opens until the 9.00 pm of this Friday (11 August 2023). You do not need to answer any mathematics questions during the test run.

BMC 2023 Results
1. The results (school report) of 'The 6th Benedict Goh Malaysia Schools Mathematics Championship 2023' has been sent to the teacher-in-charge(s) of each participating schools before 2.00 a.m. of 2 October 2023.
2. Teachers are allowed to share the competition results with their students.
3. Students must check and make sure that all their information in the school report are correct.
4. If any correction of information is needed, student must inform the teachers immediately. And the teachers will inform the organiser via WhatsApp on or before 4 October 2023.
