*NIGHT PRAYER – WE WRESTLE*
*For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places*.*Ephesians 6:12 (KJV)*
*I visited him, and as we discussed spiritual matters, he said to me, “Since I began engaging in midnight prayers, my dreams have changed*.”
*I said to him, “Tell me the nature of the dreams*.”
*He replied, “Dreams like fighting with beasts, overcoming hills and mountains, flying, being chased or chasing, and defeating anything that comes my way*.”
*I laughed and said to him, “That is the impact of your night prayers*. *That is the response you get from those spiritual activities at the initial stage*.”
*I write today to those who are spiritually mature and to those who desire to gain ascendency in spiritual matters*.
*From our opening scripture, the first phrase is we wrestle*. *In a wrestling match, it is two people involved in the combat, not one*. *When you hit your opponent, be ready for a response—especially when the impact is strong*. *Even in a weakened state, the opponent may still try to show strength*.
*That is what happens when you engage in night prayer*. *You are making real impact in the spiritual realm, and what you begin to experience is a form of resistance*. *Do not be afraid*. *The reason you are getting feedback is because your prayers are producing results*.
*That response is often meant to create fear and discourage you from continuing*. *If you stop praying, the resistance may also stop—that is the strategy behind it*. *But you must press on*. *Continue praying, and you will outgrow that level*.
*As you receive feedback, intensify your prayers even more*. *The more you pray, the more you grow spiritually, the stronger your authority becomes, and the more established you are as a watcher over your family, environment, and territory*.
*A beloved brother began praying at night for one hour and experienced resistance*. *He increased it to two and then three hours—same experience*. *But he refused to stop*. *Today, he has maintained a consistent night vigil for three years non-stop*. *Now, he stands as a commanding force in spiritual matters*.
*DECLARATION*
*I am not weak in spiritual matters*. *Nothing can terrify me from praying at night*. *I will engage more in night prayers because my God owns both the day and the night*. *I am a watcher over my family, my environment, and my territory*. *I am taking my place in the spiritual realm*. *I am a victor*. *I am a winner*.

*SPIRITUAL ALERTNESS: DON'T SLEEP THROUGH DIVINE SIGNALS*
*So be on your guard; not asleep like others*. *Stay alert and be sober*. *1 Thessalonians 5:6 (NLT)*
*He went to bed early, even after visiting a dear brother in church who was sick and admitted to a nearby hospital*.
*Around midnight, something tapped him to pray, but he waved it off*. *After waking briefly to urinate, he returned to bed*. *Again, he felt the same tap, and the thought of the brother in the hospital came strongly to his mind*. *He heard, “Pray for him*.”
*Instead, he stood up and called someone else, saying, “I can’t sleep*. *Please, let’s pray for this brother at the hospital*.” *The other person agreed but hung up shortly after*.
*Sadly, neither of them really prayed because of sleep*. *By the next morning, the brother in the hospital had passed away*. *When they heard the news, they broke down in tears—filled with guilt and regret*.
*Beloved, how many times do we receive promptings of the Spirit at night, yet ignore them and go back to sleep without concern? Many times, our love for sleep over prayer has cost us spiritual and physical losses we cannot even measure*.
*But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away*. *Matthew 13:25 (NIV)*
*Those who sleep through spiritual signals take lightly what lies ahead*. *Yet, by responding in prayer, we can alter negative outcomes, set divine purposes in motion, and uproot demonic plans*.
*Be spiritually sensitive*. *When you suddenly feel pressed to wake up and pray, take it seriously*. *When you feel a touch and wake up, take it seriously*. *When you feel restless and unable to sleep, don’t just lie down—see it as a call to prayer*. *You may not know what danger you are preventing for yourself, your family, or others*.
*Dear reader, never push aside the prompting or signal to pray at any time*. *When there is a divine leading, wake up, rise, and take your stand in prayer*. *Don’t allow sleep to rob you of the opportunity to avert danger or bring forth God’s purpose*
*Israel's watchmen are blind, they all lack knowledge; they are all mute dogs, they cannot bark; they lie around and dream, they love to sleep*. *Isaiah 56:10(NIV)*
*Awake! Do not be a watchman who loves sleep more than being alert and watchful*.

*I once heard a man share the testimony of his life journey—how difficult things were for him*. *He had no one to support him while growing up, and he ended up in a garage doing odd jobs just to survive*.
*Along the line, he gave his life to Christ when a group of young Christians came to evangelize at the park*. *From that moment, he became dedicated to God and to His service*.
*Right there, he picked up a form and registered for external examinations*. *As he passed one level, he moved to the next, until he eventually graduated from the university through a part-time program*. *Along the way, he joined politics and later became a personal assistant to a prominent politician in his state*. *After serving for some years, he contested for a political position and won*. *In time, he eventually became the governor of his state through election*.
*Life can sometimes appear broken, dry, or unproductive, but God specializes in transforming lives*. *He does not just repair—He beautifies*. *When God steps into a life, shame turns to glory, pain turns to purpose, and ashes become beauty*.
*A life without God may look good outwardly, but it lacks lasting beauty*. *If you don’t have Christ, you are far from true beauty*.
*Beloved, God is the One who beautifies life*. *He takes an ugly situation and turns it into something beautiful that radiates His glory, changing a person from nobody to somebody*.
*No matter how damaged a life may be, God can restore and beautify it—from loss to double restoration, from prison to palace*. *He may not skip the process, but He guarantees a beautiful outcome*.
*Dear reader, I see joy replacing sorrow, favor replacing rejection, peace replacing confusion, fruitfulness replacing dryness, and health replacing sickness and pain*.
*God is committed to making your life beautiful*. *No matter the ashes you carry, your story is not over*. *When you allow God to work in you, your life will become a testimony of His glory*.

*When we met, I told her that I sensed the call of God upon my life—that I would eventually become a full-time pastor*. *She said, “No problem.” I honestly thought she might walk away, because many ladies do not want to marry a pastor, especially one going into full-time ministry*.
*In 2017, when I quit my job to answer the call of God, she went through the pain and discomfort of lacking the basic necessities of life*. *Yet, she held on*. *After God, she was the next person who stood by me, sacrificing in every way—through love, finances, and prayers—to see me succeed*.
*A woman of strength is not just physically strong—she is spiritually, emotionally, morally, and intellectually sound*. *She is a woman who stands by you when you make tough decisions, who goes through hard times and difficult moments with you*.
*She is a godly woman who draws her strength from God and positively influences her family, community, and generation*. *She depends completely on God and cannot be easily shaken by life’s challenges or changing circumstances*. *Instead, she keeps her faith alive*.
*Psalm 46:5(KJV)* *God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved*…”
*What defines a woman of strength is her character—not a character that changes with situations, but one rooted in integrity to stand firm no matter what*. *She remains faithful, not looking elsewhere when her husband is not financially strong*. *She respects her husband, even when he is unable to meet family needs at a particular time*.
*Dear reader, a woman of strength is a virtuous woman who draws her strength from God*. *A praying woman and wife is a powerful woman*. *She wins battles in the place of prayer for her husband and family*.
*I remember that many directions the Lord gave us in ministry came through our joint efforts in fasting and prayer*. *Pastor Jenny and I took time to seek God, and He saw us through*.
*A woman of strength is also a woman of wisdom, because wisdom helps her manage her home, relationships, and decisions wisely*.
*A strong woman does not give up easily*. *She endures trials and still stands*.
*A strong woman is a builder, not a destroyer—she impacts lives positively*.
*A strong woman knows God for herself, so that when storms arise, she remains standing*.
*A woman of strength is not defined by her appearance, but by her relationship with God, her character, and her ability to stand firm in all seasons of life*.

*He asked us, “Have you ever seen a dumb herbalist?” We all said no*. *Why? Because they use words to activate their charms*. *They use words to control and operate in the realm of evil*.
*Beloved, life is a battle of words*. *Your words determine whether you win or lose*. *God created the world with words, and when He created man, He put a mouth in your body*. *Your mouth is not only for food, but for words*. *That is why there is no dumb herbalist—you cannot have a mouth and be dumb, both physically and spiritually*.
*From our opening scripture, no incantation against you will stand, and no enchantment will succeed*. *Every magic spell will shatter for your sake*.
*Dear reader, words are used in every realm of life—both dark and light—and they determine life and death*. *Use your words rightly*.
*Goliath defeated the children of Israel with words for forty days until David came*. *David also used words to defeat Goliath, then killed him and cut off his head*.
*The woman with the issue of blood used words to receive her healing after suffering for twelve years without improvement*. *Our Lord Jesus used the right words at the right time to heal, deliver, restore life, and defeat His adversaries*.

*God has given us words and wisdom to silence our accusers—to cancel, abolish, and reverse their words through our own words*. *You cannot afford to be silent when you should be speaking*.

*Cain had words with his brother*. *While they were out in the field, Cain attacked his brother Abel and killed him*. *Genesis 4:8 (MSB)*
*Recently in Nigeria, there was a case of police brutality involving the killing of a young boy*. *I read the story, though I didn’t watch the video (I will speak on this)*.
*This young boy went to a park to collect a waybill for someone, and it was discovered that the content was guns*. *He pleaded that he was only sent and even offered to take them to the person who sent him, but his plea fell on deaf ears*.
*When the police arrived, instead of doing what was expected—investigating the matter—the officer in charge shot the young boy in the head*. *He was then taken to the police station, where the killing was concluded*. *Thank God the state has taken over the case, and I pray that the policemen involved will be dealt with according to the laws of the land*.
*Beloved, I want to advise believers to stop watching horrible videos or content on social media that display wickedness and inhumanity*. *Firstly, such content has a lasting emotional effect on you*. *Secondly, it can gradually harden your heart, making wickedness seem normal over time*. *Please be mindful of what you watch*.
*There are people who become victims the very first time they get involved in something*. *That young boy died simply for going on an errand—possibly his first time*. *Many people commit certain acts of sin for the first time and become victims*. *Just because Mr. A did something and went free does not guarantee that Mr. B will do the same and escape*.

*He was posted to a local settlement in a town, and he was a firebrand pastor*. *He came with revival fire, touching the town and neighboring villages through one crusade after another*.
*He was married and trusting God for the fruit of the womb*. *As the revival spread, converts kept flowing into the church*. *There was a particular young lady whose mother was a widow and found it difficult to care for her daughter*. *Out of compassion, the pastor and his wife decided to take her into their home and train her*.
*Only to discover two years later that the young lady was pregnant, and our dear pastor was responsible for it*. *He publicly confessed to it, but not without leaving a wound and a heavy blow on the church*. *It affected the work of God greatly*. *At the same time, his wife was also pregnant*. *Eventually, he had to leave that town for another state*.
*There is a saying: the meat you do not want to eat, do not bring close to your nose*. *That act may have been a first-time experience for that pastor, but he became a victim of it*.
*Beloved, the devil is after your faith*. *He wants to see you fall*. *He will bring first-time temptations your way to make you a victim*. *You will not fall in Jesus’ Name, but you must remain spiritually sensitive no matter how attractive it may appear*.
*There are things unbelievers do that may not seem like a big issue, but when a believer who is wired in the image and likeness of God gets involved in such acts, it becomes a serious matter*. *You must not become a victim*. *Sin, no matter how sugar-coated it may look, should never be entertained*.
*That drink could be a first-time thing*. *That lady or guy could be a first-time thing*. *Getting money through fraudulent means or manipulating figures could be a first-time thing*. *Traveling outside town and committing fornication or adultery with a new partner could be a first-time thing, but it may leave a lasting wound*. *Going on that ungodly journey or business trip could be a first-time thing*. *Engaging in ungodly conversations or relationships could also be a first-time thing*. *Do not allow it to give you a wound or make you a victim*.
*Dear reader, be sensitive and allow the Holy Spirit to always take the lead*. *Let your thoughts, actions, and decisions be guided by the Lord*. *Check within your spirit whether that first-time act will bring a wound or make you a victim*.

*After finishing secondary school, when all hope of furthering my education seemed lost, I reached out to a close relative in the city with letters, asking to visit and stay for a while until I could sort myself out*. *The response I got was full of excuses*.
*I remember one particular visit out of frustration*. *I stayed for a while, but eventually, my bag was thrown outside*. *That day, I made up my mind to depend on God alone*. *Today, I thank God Almighty for how far He has brought me*.
*At some point in life, we all experience moments when people turn their backs on us*. *Friends may refuse to assist, family may disappoint, and even those we have helped in the past may fail to return the favour*. *But as children of God, we must remember that our ultimate help comes from God, not man*. *God's help is sure*.
*Dear reader, are you feeling hurt because a close relative or friend refused to help you? Don't be*. *The reason they didn't help you is that God did not empower them to do so*. *If they had, they might have claimed ownership over your life*. *Instead of feeling bitter, thank God that they were unable to assist you*.
*Any man that God has not empowered to help you will never be able to help you*. *Stop worrying yourself and look to God alone*.
*When people refuse to help us, it is often a test of our faith*. *Sometimes, God allows people to say "no" because He has a better plan, and He wants to take the glory*.
*God uses these moments to shift our dependence from man to Him, awakening our faith and making a way for us*.
"*I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help*. *My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth*." *Psalm 121:1-2 (KJV)*
*The people you are looking up to also need help*. *Stop looking at the hills; look unto God*. *Change your focus and your mindset*.
*Beloved, hold on to God*. *Nobody owes you anything*. *Define this truth from the beginning so you can move forward quickly*.
*Failure to understand this can lead to offence, bitterness, and unforgiveness towards others*. *When that happens, it can delay your progress in life*.

*Turn your focus from men so you don’t attract a curse*. *Instead, focus on God so you can remain in His blessing*.

*When I started ministry in 2017, after resigning from my job, I spent time at home studying and praying until I gained admission into Bible school for two years*. *When the Lord gave us the go-ahead to start a church, we began searching for a location*.
*We eventually found a small space in a plaza, but the rent was ₦1.8 million for two years*. *While trying to raise the money and reaching out in faith, I shared the need with a businessman friend from school*. *He promised to visit the place, and he did*. *He then assured me that he would pay for the location within a few days*. *However, till today, I have never seen him again, nor did he ever pick my calls*.
*Beloved, when help does not come from the people you rely on, it is not their fault*. *It simply means God has not empowered them to assist you*. *If they were meant to help, they would have fulfilled their promise*. *So, stop being bitter towards friends or relatives who fail to help*.
*Looking back now, if my friend had paid for that space, we would have been stranded after two years when the rent expired*. *Imagine if I did not have this understanding—I would have been bitter towards him*. *But in the end, God provided us with a better venue that cost only ₦300,000 per year, which was within our means*.
*Some helpers are not God's will for you*. *Seek His will in finding help, and remember that His will is already in His person—God Himself*. *No one owes you anything*. *Drop the entitlement mentality and focus on your Maker*. *I am not saying people should not help, but do not put all your hope in men*. *Your help is always in God*.
"*The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light*." *Matthew 6:22 (KJV)*
*The problem with many people is their focus*. *When you put all your attention on men, they will fail you*. *But when you fix your eyes on God, He will never fail you*. *Instead, He will use men to help you in such a way that they will not even expect gratitude in return*. *Change your focus today*.

*Secondly, God wants to take all the glory in your life*. *Sometimes, men will fail you so that God can help you*. *When your testimony is complete, you will not have to credit any man for it—only God will take the glory*.

*GOD'S PILLAR GUIDE*
*WHEN THE SEASON IS OVER, IT IS TIME TO MOVE ON*.
*And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land*. *1 Kings 17:7 (KJV)*
*I remember meeting him in school. He offered me a TomTom sweet, and I was led to collect it and keep it in my pocket*. *During break time, we started discussing, and as time went on, we became very close*.
*He was not always in school because of his political engagements*. *His principal was a serving governor of a state, so he was always busy*. *He became a strong support to my stay in school, helping me whenever the need arose, while on the other hand, I always kept things running for him in school*.
*This was the beginning of my ministry journey*.
*After a while, his principal asked him to contest at the state level, which he did and won*. *At that stage, he could no longer pick my calls because of his commitments*.
*One day, during prayer, the Lord said to me, “I am through with him concerning you*. *His season in your life is over, and I have closed the door*.” *Till today, our relationship ended not by quarrel, but by divine working*.
*Beloved, a lot of times we want to remain in a location, season, or relationship when the Lord is saying that the season, relationship, or location is over*. *It is time to move on*. *One major problem many people have is refusing to move when God has ended a season*.
*When God sent Elijah to the brook, at first it was a beautiful place to be*. *There was drought in the land, yet the brook still supplied fresh water for him to drink after a good meal of bread and flesh*.* But after a while, the brook dried up, and the Lord said to Elijah, “Move on to another location.” Zidon became another location, the widow of Zarephath became another relationship, and a new season of sustenance began*.
*Dear reader, no season lasts forever, no relationship is permanent, and no location remains the same forever*. *The constant factor in life is change*. *Stop holding on to what you should let go of*. *Letting go opens doors to better, beautiful, and greater opportunities*.
*Why are you worried and trying to remain in relationships by force? People will always leave so others can come*. *When one season ends, another season will arise*. *A location can become unbearable, uneasy, and unproductive; that may be a sign that it is time to move on*.
*Not every closed door is from the devil*. *Some doors close because God is changing your season*. *Do not become attached to expired relationships, positions, or experiences when you have outgrown them*.
*Do not worship yesterday*. *Do not camp in expired places*. *Do not remain emotionally tied to what God has left behind*.
*I pray for you: may your spiritual sensitivity be awakened to know when to take a step and move into your desired haven in destiny, in Jesus' Name. Amen*.

*Discern God’s voice, accept reality, do not force what God has finished, let go, and move on*.

*MY WIFE IS A PRAYER WARRIOR, WHAT ARE YOU?*
*His name was Nabal, and his wife's name was Abigail*. *She was an intelligent and beautiful woman, but her husband, a Calebite, was harsh and difficult in his dealings*. (*1 Samuel 25:3, NIV*)
*She comes to church alone with the children, very dedicated to the work of God*. *She is a member of both the prayer team and the evangelism team, and her children are also active in the Heroes of Tomorrow unit of the church*.
*Her commitment caught her pastor’s attention*. *Month after month, he kept asking about her husband*. *She would always say, “He is doing fine*.” *The pastor visited their home on several occasions but never met her husband*. *One day, however, he decided to visit after Sunday service and finally met him coming out of the bathroom*. *They exchanged pleasantries*.
*The pastor asked him, “Why haven’t we seen you in church with your family?” He replied, “I will soon join them*. *I encouraged them to keep coming, and I want to thank you, Pastor*. *My wife has tremendous grace*. *Since she joined your ministry, she has been a prayer warrior*. *She leads us in morning prayers and prays for the family at night*. *She is strong in prayer, and I am seeing the results*.”
*Beloved, every husband acknowledges the spiritual strength of his spouse*. *But if she is praying, interceding, fasting, and standing in the gap for the family, what is your contribution? Every prayer warrior needs a partner who also walks in God’s ways*.
*Sir, remember, you are the priest of your home*. *Have you relegated your role to your wife? Don’t destroy God’s design for the family*. *Be at the forefront of spiritual matters*. *Don’t wait until you are asked about spiritual issues to refer them back to your wife—that is neither right nor proper*.
*If your wife is a prayer warrior, are you just a “talk-talk” warrior? Do you command people around the house, roar like a lion at home, but act like a dove at the office? Ten minutes of prayer and then back to dozing? O man, wake up from your slumber and take charge of your spiritual responsibility*. *If you provide for the physical and financial needs of your family, you must also cater to their spiritual needs*.
*Dear reader, each person has a role in the family*. *It is not enough to rely on someone else’s prayers*. *Both spouses must participate in spiritual exercises together—study God’s Word, pray, fast for the family, and serve in ministry as a team*.

*Take your place as the priest of your house, dear husband, father, and guardian*.
