This tornado was warned with a Tornado Emergency, which is reserved only for very dangerous tornadoes. This tornado was at least an EF3 based off of initial damage assessments; an official NWS damage assessment will estimate its strength in the next few days.

At this moment, another round of storms has hit the area resulting in a Severe Thunderstorm Warning, complicating search-and-rescue efforts.
