Abdullāh Ibn Abbās said:

‎ إِنَّ لِلْحَسَنَةِ ضِيَاءً فِي الْوَجْهِ وَنُورًا فِي الْقَلْبِ وَسَعَةً فِي الرِّزْقِ وَقُوَّةً فِي الْبَدَنِ وَمَحَبَّةً فِي قُلُوبِ الْخَلْقِ
Verily, good deeds will brighten the face, enlighten the heart, expand provision, strengthen the body, and cause love in the hearts of the creation.

Verily, evil deeds will blacken the face, darken the grave and the heart, weaken the body, restrict provision, and cause hatred in the hearts of the creation.

Taqwa & Good Character

Ibn al-Qayyim

“The Prophet ﷺ established a relationship between the fear of Allāh and good character, because fearing Allāh improves the relation between the servant and Allāh, and good character improves the relation between a person and others. Therefore, fearing Allāh makes it possible for Allāh to love him, and good manners makes it possible for people to love that person.”

Imaam an-Nawawee said: “So the first thing which he should begin with is the memorisation of the mighty Qur’an,which is the most important of the branches of knowledge. And the Salaf did not used to teach hadeeth or fiqh, except to one who had memorised the Qur’an. So when he has memorised it, then let him beware of pre-occupying himself from it with hadeeth, or fiqh, or other things, to the extent that it leads him to forget anything from the Qur’an, or makes that likely.”

Allah Will Suffice You in Everything

Ḥasbiya-Allāhu lā ilāha illā Huwa, ʿalayhi tawakkaltu, wa Huwa Rabbu-l-ʿArshi-l-ʿaẓīm.

Allah is sufficient for me. There is no god worthy of worship except Him. I have placed my trust in Him only and He is the Lord of the Magnificent Throne.

Abū al-Dardā’ (‎رضي الله عنه) narrates from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he said:

“Whoever recites (the above) seven times in the morning and in the evening, Allah will suffice him in everything that concerns him in matters of this world and the next.”

📌 Helping Others:

‎Ibn al-Qayyim

‎"Ibn Taymiyyah used to race towards the fulfilling of people's needs very earnestly, because he knew that every time he helped someone else, Allāh would help him."

Our Attitude Concerning Mockery of the Prophet Muhammad

We and every Muslim who feels pride in his religion is grieved by what these fools and criminals have done by mocking our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ who is the best man who ever walked on this earth, and he is the leader of the earlier and later generations, may the blessings and peace of my Lord be upon him.

Allah says:

“If you ask them (about this), they declare: ‘We were only talking idly and joking.’ Say: ‘Was it at Allah, and His Ayaat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and His Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) that you were mocking? Make no excuse; you have disbelieved after you had believed. If We pardon some of you, We will punish others amongst you because they were Mujrimoon (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, criminals, etc.).”
Surah Tawbah (9): 65-66

Shaykhul-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah {رحمه الله} said concerning these hypocrites who make fun of Islam:

This indicates that they did not themselves think that they had committed an act of kufr; rather they thought that that did not constitute kufr. So, Allah explained that ridiculing Allah and His revelations and His Messenger constituted kufr and meant that the person had disbelieved after having believed. This indicates that they had faith, albeit weak, and they did this haraam action knowing that it was haraam, but they did not think that it constituted kufr. However, it was kufr by means of which they became disbelievers, although they did not think that it was permissible.

See Majmou Fatāwā (7/273)

Allah will suffice His Prophet ﷺ against the criminals who mock him. He says:

“For he who hates you (O Muhammad), he will be cut off (from posterity and every good thing in this world and in the Hereafter).” Surah Kawthar (108): 3 - i.e., he is scorned and humiliated and cut off from all that is good.

Shaykhul-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah {رحمه الله} said:

When the Muslims besieged a stronghold and its people resisted, then they heard them mocking and reviling the Prophet ﷺ, they would sense that victory was at hand, and it would only be a short time before Allaah granted them victory, to avenge His Messenger ν.

See As-Saarim al-Maslul (p. 116-117)
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

“Rushing to repentance from sins is obligatory immediately,

And it is not permissible to delay it,

For when the sinner delays it if he then repents from the sins there is still more repentance he must do ,

And that is repent for delaying repentance.“

Sheikh ul Islam ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said,

“The sincere hearts of Muslims and their righteous supplications are an invincible army with steadfast troops, who never falter.”
