tinggal tekan traumanya dikit, kasih rasa takut sedikit, terus lihat mereka berubah jadi orang asing buat diri mereka sendiri.

sementara scientist lain sibuk bikin virus buat ngerusak tubuh manusia,
gue lebih tertarik sama cara ngerusak kesadaran mereka pelan-pelan.
halusinasi, paranoia, manipulasi emosi—
sampai mereka nggak sadar kalau pilihan yang mereka ambil tuh udah bukan “kemauan sendiri.”

The Connections bilang research gue terlalu jauh.
too dangerous. too unstable.
but they still keep funding me anyway.
because deep down they know, Elpis works.

dan makin gue dalemin penelitiannya, makin gue sadar kalau manusia tuh sebenernya gampang banget dikontrol.
mereka cuma denial aja.

funniest part?
orang-orang terus nyari tau siapa gue sebenarnya, seolah identitas gue bakal ngubah sesuatu.
padahal identitas gue itu rahasia.
nama “Z.E.N.O” aja udah lebih dari cukup buat bikin beberapa orang langsung panic attack tiap liat file research gue muncul lagi.

but somehow…
masih aja ada rumor receh tiap nama gue dibahas.

“Zeno cloningan Wesker.”
“Albert Wesker versi muda.”
“produk gagal Umbrella.”

please be serious.

gue benci banget dibilang cloningan Albert Wesker tua itu.
gue nggak punya urusan sama legacy dia, nggak pengen jadi next Wesker, dan definitely nggak mau disamain sama manusia yang obsession-nya udah kayak messiah complex gagal.

gue bukan copy-an siapa-siapa.
gue jauh lebih buruk.

karena Wesker cuma pengen ngontrol dunia.
sementara gue?
gue pengen bikin manusia kehilangan kendali atas dirinya sendiri tanpa mereka sadar kalau itu lagi terjadi.

dan trust me,
itu jauh lebih serem.

E.L.P.I.S — CLASSIFIELD CATASTHROPHE

Elpis was never designed to be humane.

people keep misunderstanding it as just another biohazard, another engineered infection destined to create mindless creatures and failed experiments.
they couldn’t be more mistaken.

Elpis is subtle.
it doesn’t destroy you immediately — it dismantles you gradually.
your memories begin to distort, your fears become indistinguishable from reality, and eventually even your own consciousness no longer feels trustworthy.

that’s what makes it beautiful.

most viruses attack the body.
Elpis attacks perception itself.

by the time the symptoms fully manifest, the victim is already trapped inside their own mind, questioning every thought, every emotion, every fragment of reality surrounding them.

and the terrifying part?

they still believe they’re in control.

The Connections only saw Elpis as a weapon.
I saw potential far beyond that.

because once you can manipulate fear, paranoia, and human consciousness at will, you no longer need armies to control the world.
