Global Changemakers is excited to announce that Applications for the Mentorship Program are officially OPEN until January 6th, 2022. The next cohort will join the program from February to May 2022.

This 12-week, virtual mentoring program was created to help young people aged *15-22* discover their purpose, fulfil their potential and ‘be the change they wish to see’.

Successful applicants from around the world are matched with a mentor based on SDGs of interest and time zones. Each participant receives a curated workbook, complementary materials and continuous support throughout the program.

OPPORTUNITY ALERT!

Green Genius was launched with the sole purpose to provide a platform to
bright youth from various schools, colleges and universities to establish innovative environmental solutions for the community, The third season of Green Genius will be held on 22nd March, 2022.

The Green Genius team has started taking idea submissions from all students across the globe.

The competition will be held in two stages:

Phase 1: The participants are required to submit an idea (individually) in 400 words (max.) through this form by 27th February 2022.

Phase 2: Shortlisted participants from each category will be notified and invited to attend a grooming session & will then individually present their ideas in a symposium round. Participants from outside of Dhaka, Bangladesh can virtually present their ideas (using PowerPoint) on 13th March 2022, and participants from Dhaka, Bangladesh can present physically (using Poster) at IUB on 14th March 2022.

All selected participants will receive certificates, and the winners from each category will receive crests, and attractive prize money to make their ideas come to reality.

In the workshop, we will highlight the environmental impact of menstruation. Though menstruation is a huge taboo in many communities around the world, which also affects the accessibility of menstrual care products, many women are left unaware of the environmental impact of their menstruation. This workshop will explore the ingredients found in conventional pads, how pads and tampons are manufactured, sustainable eco-friendly options (i.e. period pad, menstrual cup, reusable pad, etc.), and explain the power of conversations to spread awareness and debunk the menstruation taboo.
