🌍🇷🇺 SOUTHERN KAMCHATKA SHIFTED 2 METERS AFTER MASSIVE QUAKE

📍 On July 30, a powerful magnitude 8.8 earthquake — the strongest in the region since 1952 — caused southern Kamchatka to shift 2 meters to the southeast, according to the regional branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences’ Geophysical Service.

📏 For example, the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky was displaced by around 50 cm, scientists reported on August 5.
