🌊🇻🇳 Typhoon Kajiki Intensifies in the South China Sea

⚫️ A very concerning situation is developing in the South China Sea. Typhoon Kajiki, currently a Category 1 storm with winds up to 120 km/h (75 mph), is entering a phase of rapid intensification. Intense bursts of convection are forming around its eye, and the cloud deck is clearing, indicating strengthening of the storm.

⚠️ Forecasts show that the typhoon’s core will stay south of Hainan Island, China, meaning there are no natural obstacles to its intensification. As a result, Kajiki may reach dangerous Category 2 or higher strength by the time it makes landfall in Vietnam tomorrow.

‼️Local authorities and residents along the Vietnamese coast are advised to prepare for strong winds, heavy rainfall, and potential damage.
