🚨 Torrential rains have triggered severe flooding in the Ibb Governorate in southwestern Yemen, submerging roads and communities, causing significant destruction and casualties.

💧 According to recent reports, an entire family tragically lost their lives in the Meitam area, southeast of the city of Ibb. Local sources confirmed that four victims were from the same family, swept away by the floodwaters. Rescue teams managed to save a girl from the same family who was on the verge of drowning.

In the Gail Ainan area, the bodies of a nine-year-old girl and an elderly woman were found after they were swept away from a shelter by the flood. Search and rescue teams are continuing their efforts to locate the missing head of the family, Saleh Al-Kamadi, and his granddaughter, who remain unaccounted for at the time of writing.
