โ€ผ๏ธThe Arctic could lose all its ice within a few years

This is reported by *Nature Communications* magazine, citing climate research. Scientists used 300 computer simulations to predict the date of the first summer period when the Arctic will be completely ice-free.

According to most models, this could happen within the next 3 to 20 years, even if greenhouse gas emissions are reduced.

Nine out of 300 simulations suggest that the Arctic could lose all its ice much sooner โ€” by late summer 2027.

Experts warn that the disappearance of Arctic ice will have significant climate implications, accelerating global warming, altering ocean currents, and threatening the Arctic ecosystem.

๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ช Rain and Thunderstorms in Dibba, Fujairah, UAE

๐ŸŒง On Tuesday, January 14, intense thunderstorms and heavy rains were observed in the Dibba region of Fujairah, UAE. Bright lightning lit up the night sky over the country's eastern coast, accompanied by heavy rainfallโ€”an unusual occurrence for this arid region.โšก๏ธ

โ€ผ๏ธ Such unpredictable natural phenomena are becoming increasingly frequent, raising concerns about climate change. The intensification of thunderstorm activity and shifting precipitation patterns are part of global processes that demand urgent attention. Addressing climate issues has become critically important to mitigate the impacts of such events.

๐ŸŒ 2024 Was the Warmest Year on Record in Europe
๐Ÿ—“ *World Meteorological Organization Report, April 15, 2025*

According to the latest report from the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), the year 2024 has officially been declared the warmest ever recorded in Europe. The most extreme temperatures were observed across Central, Eastern, and Southeastern regions of the continent.

๐Ÿ”ฅ This record highlights the ongoing trend of global warming and the increasing impact of climate change on Europe. Rising temperatures are affecting human health, water resources, agriculture, and ecosystems.

๐Ÿ“Š The โ€œState of the Climate in Europe 2024โ€ report emphasizes the urgent need to adapt to changing climate conditions and intensify efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

๐Ÿ“ˆ๐Ÿ’ฆ Across Europe, sea levels are rising at an average rate of 2โ€“4 mm per year.

โ€ผ๏ธThis is caused by melting glaciers and the thermal expansion of seawater due to rising temperatures. While most scientists attribute this to global warming, some suggest an alternative explanation โ€” heat from magma activity beneath the ocean.

๐ŸŒจ๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ Cold Air Brings May Snowfall to Europe: A Rare Natural Phenomenon Hits Multiple Countries

โ„๏ธOn May 15, a powerful surge of cold air swept across Europe, bringing unseasonal cold and snowfalls to various regions of the continent. Eyewitness videos captured snowy landscapes in ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฑ Poland (Zakopane), ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญ Switzerland, ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฟ Czech Republic, ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ท Tรผrkiye (Erzurum), as well as the Tatra Mountains on the border of Poland and ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฐ Slovakia. Snow also fell in the Lviv region in western ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Ukraine.

While snow in May is a rare occurrence, it served as a reminder that nature does not follow human calendars. Even in distant ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ท Argentina (Rรญo Turbio, Santa Cruz Province), snowfalls were observed โ€” underlining the global scale of atmospheric processes at play.

โ„๏ธ Such anomalous weather events are becoming increasingly frequent and are raising concern among scientists.

๐Ÿ“ฃ It is essential to unite the scientific expertise of meteorologists, climatologists, and geophysicists to uncover the true causes of such unstable atmospheric behavior and to find ways to mitigate and adapt to the effects of global climate change. Without coordinated efforts from the scientific community, we risk facing increasingly unpredictable and destructive natural phenomena.
