🇪🇹 Flooding in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (July 23, 2025)

🌧 Due to heavy rains, widespread flooding occurred in Addis Ababa. The disaster submerged residential neighborhoods, roads, and markets. The most affected areas were located along small riverbeds and ravines, where water levels rapidly rose, flooding homes and vehicles.

⛔️ The flooding caused disruptions in public transportation and blocked several main roads in the city center. Residents reported infrastructure damage, including power outages and water supply interruptions.
