πŸ”₯ IMPORTANT. AUTOMATIC ADD TO THE HUB

Now adding to any Hub happens almost instantly!

We have updated and improved the system for adding to any of the three Hubs. Now it takes about a minute in automatic mode.

However, this does not apply to the initial authorization in the Bot, it still takes place manually and can take from 1 to 24 hours. This is the next one we will be working on in the near future.

We do our best to keep your wait to a minimum!

πŸ”₯ IMPORTANT. PATREON SUBSCRIPTION RENEWAL

Patreon subscriptions now renew after 30 days instead of the 1st of each month!

Friends, the big update that you have been waiting for has been released on Patreon.

All subscribers who subscribed to Patreon after September 27, 2022 are automatically connected to the new subscription renewal system.

As it was before: It doesn't matter what day you subscribed, the renewal was automatically on the 1st of each month.

As it is now: If you subscribed on the 14th, then the renewal of the subscription will be on the 14th and so on!

This problem was one of the most frequent, for which you contacted us. But unfortunately, the technical limitations of Patreon did not allow us to solve it for a long time. However, now everything works and we are very happy about it!

But remember, this works for new subscribers. All those who subscribed before September 27, 2022 remain on the old oversubscription system. We're very sorry if this makes you feel uncomfortable :(

Thank you for staying with us, we will continue to delight you with new content!

2023 is an exciting year for game development. With the ever-evolving technology and the growing popularity of the gaming industry, it is no wonder that more and more people are interested in learning how to create their own games.

If you are one of those people, then getting started with game development in 2023 is easier than ever. Here are some tips to help you get started:

1. Choose the Right Platform: Before you start developing your game, you need to decide which platform you will be using. Popular platforms include PC, console, and mobile. Each platform has its own set of tools and resources, so you will need to research the different platforms to determine which one is best for your game.

2. Learn the Basics: Once you have chosen a platform, the next step is to learn the basics of game development. This includes understanding the different programming languages, game engines, and development tools. You may also want to take some online courses or tutorials to help you get up to speed.

3. Develop a Game Design: After you have learned the basics of game development, you need to create a game design. This includes deciding on the game’s story, characters, levels, and other features. You can also create a prototype of the game to test out your ideas.

4. Create a Prototype: After you have created a game design, you can start creating a prototype of the game. This will help you get a better understanding of how the game will look and feel. You can also use this prototype to test out your game design and make changes as needed.

5. Create the Final Product: Once you have created a prototype and tested it out, you can start creating the final product. This includes programming the game, creating the graphics and sound effects, and creating the user interface. After you have completed the game, you can then launch it on the chosen platform.

By following these tips, you can get started with game development in 2023. With the right tools and resources, you can create a game that can be enjoyed by many players. Good luck!

How to come up with a hit game idea?

One important factor to consider when choosing an idea for a game is whether it is original and innovative. While it is possible for a game with a familiar theme or gameplay mechanics to be successful, a unique and fresh concept can help your game stand out in a crowded market.

It is also important to consider your target audience. Think about what type of game would appeal to the players you are trying to reach, and tailor your concept accordingly.

Finally, consider the feasibility of your idea. Can it be realistically developed within your available resources and time frame? Is the market already saturated with similar games, or is there room for another entry?

Ultimately, the key to success in the game industry is to create a high-quality game that resonates with players. By focusing on innovation, a strong target audience, and feasibility, you can increase the chances of your game being a hit.

How much can a beginner earn in game development?

Our subscribers ask many different questions related to gamedev. We decided to publish answers to frequently occurring ones. For the most part, these are questions from gamedev newbies, so don't be too harsh on them.

Let's start with the most basic question: "I am a beginner game developer. Can you tell me how much I can earn on my games?"

The amount you can earn by creating your own game can vary widely depending on a number of factors, such as the type of game, how successful it is, and how you choose to monetize it. Some examples of different revenue streams for independent game developers include:

- Selling the game outright, either through digital storefronts like Steam or the App Store, or through physical copies.
- In-app purchases, such as selling virtual currency, power-ups, or additional levels.
- Advertising, such as displaying ads within the game.
- Sponsorship, where a company pays to have their product or brand included in the game.

It's also worth noting that some game developers choose to release their games for free, but then rely on other revenue streams such as in-app purchases or advertising.

It's difficult to provide an estimate of how much you could earn from creating your own game as it depends on many factors such as game genre, platform, target audience, marketing and many more. However, popular and successful games can generate millions of dollars in revenue.
