Lovestock 2023 .. Nothing gives me more encouragement than the Alt-festivals emerging around the country. To show off the 'Cuchulain chariot' again demonstrating the heroic self-image of the Gael.
What gave me my first inkling of the grim vision our Government has to re-invent Ireland as secular multi-cultural and globalitarian was that there was no pro-active engagement from Academia and the Institutions of the State for reproducing these icons of National Identity.
As was ever the case the gaelic revival will take place off-grid and unadvertised .. Glad to be free of all the wokery and cancel culture .. thanks to all who made this powerhouse event possible
