🔧 What You’ll Work On:
Design and build packet-forwarding features across IPv4/IPv6, MPLS, EVPN-VxLAN, Multicast, QoS
Work deep in dataplane + control plane (not just scripting around it)
Debug complex Linux/microkernel-level issues
Collaborate with customer-facing teams to translate real-world problems into engineering solutions
Own feature delivery end-to-end (design → build → debug → sustain)
🎯 What You Must Bring (No Compromise Zone):
Strong C/C++ (mandatory) + working knowledge of Python
Solid networking fundamentals (L2/L3 protocols, routing, switching)
Hands-on experience with router/switch software development
Exposure to datapath ASICs (Broadcom / Mellanox / Barefoot / Innovium) – this is a big differentiator
