As today passes the day of Intersex Awareness, we honor intersex refugees who face unique challenges at the intersection of identity, migration, and healthcare.

We, here at FUR/HELP, are committed to providing safe spaces, culturally competent support, and advocacy for intersex refugees. Everyone deserves the right to live authentically, fearless, and have access to the care they require.

This Trans Awareness Week, we stand in solidarity with transgender people and transgender refugees worldwide. Transgender refugees face unique challenges, escaping life-threatening persecution only to encounter more barriers in their journey to safety. We would continue to stand in solidarity with them and support their voice, no matter what.

We also honor the fearless transgender activists who fight not just for their own safety and freedom, but for the freedom and rights of others. Their resilience and courage inspire us all, be it Ukrainian trans soldiers, Palestinian, Sakartvelo and American trans people and many others that fight.

We are here to keep fighting for Trans Rights.

In light of the alarming rise in state-backed persecution of queer and trans in the United States, we join with other nonprofits to request that the EU and Canada reconsider the classification of the U.S. as a "safe country." Recent fallback in protections and policies for the rights and freedoms of LGBTQIA people have created a perfect environment of fear and discrimination, undermining the very principles of human rights and dignity.

Free Zhanar Sekerbayeva and Aktorgyn Akkenzhebalasy 🇰🇿🏳️‍🌈

FUR/HELP condemns repression and persecution of LGBTQIA+ people in Kazakhstan.
We join other nonprofits in calling for immediate action to protect human rights.

Zhanar Sekerbayeva and Aktorgyn Akkenzhebalasy from the queer feminist Feminita initiative protecting queer women rights were sentenced via arbitrary to 10 days in detention for a peaceful protest.

We join in full solidarity with Kazakhstani LGBTQIA+ and civil society activists and believe that the government must respect international human rights and stop repression without any delay.

Women solidarity includes ALL women.

This year's International Women's & Women Solidarity Day is as important as a day like this can be, coming at a time when basic human rights are under attack around the world.

We see numerous efforts by far-right political movements to undermine women, portraying them as weak and simplistic. We also witness trans women being marginalized and silenced, despite being just as valid and real as any other women. Yet, we often overlook a common thread that unites both women and the LGBTQIA community: the fight for gender equality and rights.

The far-right seeks to divide us and to make us think we have nothing in common, but they are dead wrong, always were and always will be. March 8th will always be a reminder that the battle isn't over yet, and that we must stay united, as we share the same goal.

Our Statement On Hungary's Pride Ban

We, at FUR/HELP, have seen multiple attempts of the Hungarian government to demonize and discriminate against the LGBTQIA community. Ranging from likening LGBTQIA to pedophilia and never really ending in its volume and absurdity of attacks against us. This time, they have decided to ban Pride, because they want to take away our voice.

Today's Trans Visibility Day is a crucial for the LGBTQIA+ community as a whole, especially during a time when we are facing division from both outside and within. We confirm our commitment to promote unconditional love, acceptance, and support for transgender people - every step of their journey, no matter what that is for them. Each transition is valid.

With many of our team members being part of the trans community, we're dedicated to creating spaces that are truly inclusive and welcoming to all trans individuals. Supporting trans rights isn't just something we do on the side - it's a core part of who we are and what we're working towards.
