◾The Muslims have three Eids - but the third is not Christmas. ◾
Our Shaykh Abu Bilaal Al-Hadhramy- may Allah preserve him- was asked the following question on 27 Rabbi' Athaanee 1441(24th December 2019):
📝🔹Question:
The Questioner says: Is it permissible for a muslim to be a butcher for the disbelievers during their festivals?
📩🔸Answer:
No. It is haraam upon him to cooperate with them during their festivals through butchery, exchanging gifts or anything else they do during their festivals.
It is haraam upon him - so there must be no butchery and no exchanging of presents from the muslims to the disbelievers. This is a major and grave sin and (a form of) accepting of the (validity) of the festivals of these wrongdoers.
It is a great shame that the young muslims are celebrating their festivals (i.e. the festivals of the disbelievers). The people used to celebrate Christmas a lot, although I believe this has reduced a little at present due to the presence of the (salafi) da'wah and the presence of goodness. Otherwise the people would still be celebrating Christmas as much as they used to.
So it is not permissible to celebrate any of their festivals, whether they are at the start of the year or any other time.
Despite this, we have imitated them in it, even as far as 'Mothers Day'. Where did this Mothers Day come to us from? It came from them. We do not know of any 'Mothers Day' or festival of trees (in Islam).
We have two Eids - three including Jum'ah - no more than this. I cannot comprehend some of the people and their awe and glorification of the enemies of Allah. So much so they have become magnified within their hearts which has led them to celebrating their festivals, copying their homes, affairs, clothing and whatever else they have brought and spread.
Our Prophet Mohammed ﷺ was right when he said:
[You will tread the same path as was trodden by those before you inch by inch and step by step so much so that if they entered into the hole of the lizard, you would follow them in this also.]
(Narrated by Abu Sa'eed AlKhudree (may Allah be pleased with him) in Muslim)
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was right. And the hole of a lizard is crooked and difficult to enter. Despite this; if they entered we would have entered after them and followed them despite this crookedness and difficulty. I swear by Allah; this is a remarkable comparison and grave description from the Prophet ﷺ of the state of the people in their imitation of the disbelievers at the end of time.

Our Shaykh, Muhammad ibn Hizaam -may Allaah preserve him- was asked the following question:
📩 *Question:*
The questioner says: What is the ruling on extending congratulations on the occasion of New Year's Day, also known as Christmas; where people gift roses and sweets, wear red and congratulate one another?
📝 *Answer:*
This is not permissible. These affairs are Haraam. This is among the celebrations of the disbelievers, which one must withstand. It is not permissible to rejoice with the disbelievers, nor gift things, nor imitate them, nor congratulate them on these occasions.

◾If the father does not pray then he cannot marry off his daughter◾️
Answered by our Shaykh, the 'Allaamah, the Sincere Advisor, Abu 'Abdirrahman Yahya bin 'Ali Al-Hajoori - may Allaah preserve him -
📥Question:
Is it permissible for the brother to marry off his sister if their father does not pray?
📤Answer:
If he is one who has abandoned the prayers, then a party from the people of knowledge have deemed him to be a kaafir, which is the correct opinion, so based upon that then the father is not to marry her off due to the saying of Allah:
And never will Allah grant to the disbelievers a way (to triumph) over the believers.
[An-Nisaa:141]
And due to the saying of Allah:
﴿وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتُ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ﴾
The believers, men and women, are Auliya' (helpers, supporters, friends, protectors) of one another...
[At-Taubah:71]
So the brother who prays is to marry her off, and the father who does not pray should not.

◾What is the ruling in saying:"sadaqAllahu Aldheem" after reading the quraan?◾️
Answered by our Shaykh, the 'Allaamah, the Sincere Advisor, Abu 'Abdirrahman Yahya bin 'Ali Al-Hajoori - may Allaah preserve him -
📥Question:
Is it permissible to say "sadaqAllahu Aldheem" (Allah the most great has told the truth) after reading the quraan, even sometimes?
📤Answer:
It is not to be said after reading quraan, and this is considered to be from the newly invented matters, because the prophet ﷺ did not say it, and he said to ibn mas'ood (after he read some verses to him):
《حسبك الآن》
"That is enough now"
[Reported by Al-bukhaari]
And not one letter has been authenticated that the prophet ﷺ said:
"sadaqAllahu Aldheem" after reading, nor didn't anyone around him say it after reading.
The one saying this statement is intending worship by it, and the definition of bid'ah is:
That which has been invented in the religion after the death of the prophet ﷺ with the intention of worship by it.
So this is to be from bid'ah.
As for the case when producing evidence then it is permissible, the prophet ﷺ said:
《صدق الله ﴿إنما أولادكم فتنة﴾»
"Allah has told the truth :{your children are but a fitnah}"
[Reported by Abu daawood and At-tirmithi and An-nasaaie and ibnu maajah]
And Allah the most high said:
﴿قُلْ صَدَقَ اللهُ فَاتَّبِعُوا مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ المُشْرِكِينَ﴾
Say "Allah has spoken the truth; follow the religion of Ibrahim, Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism, i.e. he used to worship Allah Alone), and he was not of Al-Mushrikun."
[Aal imraan 95]
So it isn't rebukable in all cases.

◾Is the prayer valid in garments which have blood on them? ◾️
Answered by our Shaykh, the 'Allaamah, the Sincere Advisor, Abu 'Abdirrahman Yahya bin 'Ali Al-Hajoori - may Allaah preserve him -
📥Question:
What is the ruling of a bit of blood spilling on one's garment, is the prayer correct in it?
📤Answer:
There is some elaboration in regards to blood spilling on the garment:
If it is period blood or postpartum blood, then the prayer is not correct if the one praying intentionally (knowingly) prays within the garment which has on it the impurity due to the saying of Allah :
﴿وَثِيَابَكَ فَطَهِّرْ﴾
And purify your garments
[Al-muddaththir 4]
And if he did not pray in it intentionally, then the prayer is correct due to what has been authenticated in 'As-saheeh Al-musnad mim-maa laysa fis saheehayn' of our sheikh (muqbil) may Allah have mercy on him- that the prophet ﷺ prayed in his shoes which had some impurity on them, so jibreel came (while he was in prayer) and told him that his shoes had something of impurity on them, so he ﷺ took them off during the prayer and he didn't repeat what he had prayed, and when the companions saw the prophet ﷺ taking off his shoes they took theirs off aswel, so he ﷺ said after completing the prayer:" why did you do that?"
They said:"we saw you take off your shoes, so we took our shoes off"
He ﷺ said:"verily jibreel had informed me of a impurity on them"
Our proof from the hadeeth is that the prophet ﷺ did not repeat that which he had prayed because he did not intentionally pray in the shoes which had on them impurity, and whoever was not intentional then he does not repeat that which he prayed.
As for other than period blood and postpartum blood, then the correct opinion is that it is not impure, because Allah ordered the prophet ﷺ and his companions to pray on foot or while riding, and they were praying like that: on foot and while riding, and upon confrontation with the enemy they were praying, and upon killing, and it is not possible to that blood would not have been shed, so this one some of this body would get cut, and this one would get killed, and the one who would get cut would still be praying while the blood would pour.
We used this evidence from the action of the companions of the prophet ﷺ and that they would pray on foot and while riding and during confrontation with the enemy, and we left of using as evidence that hadeeth which has the mentioning that the prophet ﷺ was with his brigade and he said: "who will be our guard tonight?"
So a man said:" Me"
so when he began to pray a man came and hit him with some arrows and he carried on praying while blood was pouring from him, due to the hadeeth having a weakness in it, for it is by the way of 'uqayl bin jaabir bin abdillah Al-ansaari, and he is unknown.
And the summary of this affair is that the blood of the person is not impure except that which has been mentioned previously from that elaboration, the period blood and the postpartum blood.
And to be clean is an affair which is sought :
﴿إِنَّ الله يُحِبُّ التَّوَّابِينَ وَيُحِبُّ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ﴾
Truly, Allah loves those who turn unto Him in repentance and loves those who purify themselves (by taking a bath and cleaning and washing thoroughly their private parts, bodies, for their prayers, etc.).
[Al-baqarah 222]
Cleaning oneself from filth like blood, spit, snot, and oils which are present on the one who works in a place where there are oils...and the likes of this.
It is recommended to clean as a muslim, purifying ones inside with repentance and the outside with cleanliness.
