The Ruling On Decorating Our Houses On The Day Of Eid
Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen, may Allaah have mercy upon him, was asked:
Question:
“What is the ruling on participating with the Christians on the birthday of the Messiah (Christmas) in which the people of the land celebrate this religious day? Many of them decorate their houses with some flowers and they place different types of lights on the walls of their houses and on other places as a form of adornment. Is it allowed for a Muslim to decorate the outside of his house with flowers and lights on the days of Eid of the Muslims?
Likewise, during this festival [i.e. Christmas] there are cars which go to the different districts carrying some sweets. They distribute them to the children in the neighbourhood for free. The children compete to obtain these sweets. We live among these people and our children see the likes of these actions. What is the ruling on our children to take these sweets?"
Answer:
“As for displaying happiness, joy, and adornment on Christmas or other than it from religious celebrations of the Christians, then it is haram without doubt. Rather, we say as Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy upon him) said:
‘If such a person is safe from disbelief [for committing this action], then the action which he has committed is more severe than drinking alcohol or other than that from what the Christians believe to be lawful. It is unlawful in the legislation’ End. [Ahkaam Ahlul-Dhimmah (1/441)]
So it is obligatory upon the Muslims to have honour and self-respect and not be followers of these Christians.
In regards to these cars, then it is upon the Muslims to object to the Christians if they go around with their cars in the neighbourhood of the Muslims. They should make apparent their rejection [of that action] towards them.
As for decorating the houses on the Eid of the Muslims, then I do not see any harm in this because this is displaying joy and happiness just as it is allowed to play the Duff (the hand drum), play with spears, and the likes [on that day]." End. [Fataawa ‘ala at-Tareeq (pg. 21-22)]

Summary:
The hadeeth of العَجْن (clenching the fists like when kneading dough) is INAUTHENTIC because:
1⃣. The chain contains an unknown narrator called Al-Haitham ibn ’Imrān as stated by Ibn Rajab in Fat-ḥ Al-Bāri:
((والهيثم هذا غير معروف))
2⃣. The authentic reports do not mention the addition of clenching the fist;
3⃣. Assuming the authenticity of the hadith, the most appropriate meaning of عاجن in this context is as ibn Rajab transmitted:
((العاجن هو الشيخ الكبير الذي يعتمد إذا قام ببطن يديه، ليس هو عاجن العجين))
“Al-’Ājin refers to the old man who supports himself with his palms when getting up. It does not refer to kneading dough (in this context).”
Benefitted from Sheikh Yusuf Al-Jazā'iri ḥafidhahullah
▪️The hadeeth has been weakened by many scholars, including Ibn Ṣalāḥ [as mentioned by Ibn Mulaqqin in Al-Khulāṣah (1/ 137)] | An-Nawawi [Sharhul Muhadhab (3/419)] | Sheikh Bakr Abu Zaid | Sheikh Muqbil | Sheikh Ibn Bāz...

"All praises are due to Allaah, Lord of the worlds, and prayer and salutation be upon our Prophet, Muhammad, his family, his companions and those who follow them in goodness until the Day of Judgement.
If a person sees that which amazes (pleases) him pertaining to his wealth, then he should say MaashaaAllah laa quwwata illaa billaah, just as in the story of the companion of the two gardens, when his companion said to him: 'It was better for you to say when you entered your garden: That which Allaah wills, there is no power except with Allaah (see Al-Quraan 18:39).' This is if he sees something amazing (pleasing) with his wealth.

The One Who Strives To Reconcile Between The People & The One Who Tries To Cause Corruption
Imaam As-Sa'dee, may Allaah have mercy upon him:
والساعي في الإصلاح بين الناس أفضل من القانت بالصلاة والصيام والصدقة، والمصلح لا بد أن يصلح الله سعيه وعمله.
كما أن الساعي في الإفساد لا يصلح الله عمله ولا يتم له مقصوده
"The one who strives to reconcile between people is better than the one who stands in prayer, fasts, and gives charity. The one who reconciles and reforms, Allaah will surely set aright his efforts and affairs. Likewise, the one who strives to cause corruption, Allaah does not fix his affairs, and he never achieves his goal."

Congregational Dua After The Burial - Something Which Occurs Often These Days
Ash-Shaykh Abdur-Razaaq al-Badr hafidaho-Allah was asked about making a congregational du’a after the burial wherein one person makes du’a and others say “Ameen” upon his du’a?
The shaykh hafidaho-Allah responds by saying that hasn’t been reported. However what comes from the Prophet sallahu alayhi wa salam is him instructing the people to seek forgiveness for the deceased, for verily he is being questioned at that moment. Therefore, whoever attends the burial should seek forgiveness for the person and ask Allaah to grant him firmness in his questioning. Each one should make du’a separately…

Marriage is a relationship based upon love, mercy, peace, and tranquility. Those are components of marriage that people usually say they strive for, however we often find that people go into marriage forgetting these components. A predominant cause of divorce, or at least an unhealthy relationship in the marriage is finances, especially when the husband can't work or has lost his job and can't find a new job.
Many women call it quits and request a divorce. Whilst that is well within their rights, it is highly recommended to be patient and show perseverance, especially when the husband is a righteous person who does his best to attend to his family's needs.
In a time whereby there is much pressure upon us to progress to high levels in the dunya, especially for men, it is important for our sisters to remember: if your husband is a righteous man and close to Allah but not doing that well in the dunya (but trying), do not despair, and be patient! You will have a great reward إن شاء الله Look what Allah عز وجل said to the Prophet ﷺ to relay to his wives...
"O Prophet, say to your wives, 'If you should desire the worldly life and its adornment, then come, I will provide for you and give you a gracious release. But if you should desire Allah and His Messenger and the home of the Hereafter – then indeed, Allah has prepared for the doers of good among you a great reward.'”
[Surah Ahzāb:28-29]
Ibn Kathīr mentioned regarding this Ayah:
"Here Allah commands His Messenger to give his wives the choice of separating from him so that they may go to someone else with whom they can find what they want from the life of this world and its attractions, or patiently bearing the difficult circumstances with the Prophet for which they will have a great reward with Allah. They chose Allah and His Messenger and the Home of the Hereafter, may Allah be pleased with them. Then Allah gave them the best, both of this world and of the Hereafter. Al-Bukhāri narrated from `A’ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, the wife of the Prophet, that the Messenger of Allah came to her when Allah commanded him to give his wives the choice. She said, “The Messenger of Allah started with me, and said,
«إِنِّي ذَاكِرٌ لَكِ أَمْرًا فَلَا عَلَيْكِ أَنْ تَسْتَعْجِلِي حَتْى تَسْتَأْمِرِي أَبَوَيْك»
(I am going to tell you about something and you do not have to hasten to respond until you consult your parents.) He knew that my parents would never tell me to leave him.
Then he said:
«إِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى قَالَ:
﴿يأَيُّهَا النَّبِىُّ قُل لاٌّزْوَجِكَ﴾»
(Allah says: (“O Prophet! Say to your wives…”)) and he recited the two Ayat. I said to him, Concerning what do I need to consult my parents, I choose Allah and His Messenger and the Home of the Hereafter.” He also narrated it without a chain of narrators, and added, “She said, then all the wives of the Prophet did the same as I."
Imām Sa'di said regarding the Ayah:
"When the wives of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ began to make demands on him with regard to maintenance and clothing, they asked for something that he was not able to do all the time, but they all persisted in their demands, which caused him some distress, to the extent that he kept away from them for a month. Allah wanted to make things easier for His Messenger ﷺ and to raise his wives in status, and remove from them anything that could detract from their reward. Therefore He instructed His Messenger ﷺ to give them the choice..."
