A Real Calamity In Our Time

قال الشيخ ابن باز رحمه الله :

“وأما تساهل الناس اليوم بالتصوير، فقد ملئوا الدنيا بالتصوير، وهذا تساهل لا وجه له، وهو يدل على قلة المبالاة، وعلى ضعف الدين ممن تعاطاه، والله المستعان.”

من شريط (تحذير من الفتن)

Ash Sheikh Ibn Baz (may Allah have mercy on him) said,

“As for the people today being lenient towards the issue of picture taking, they have filled the world with pictures. And this leniency has no basis to it and it shows a lack of concern and weakness of the deen of those who do so, Wallahul musta’an.” End translation.

قال الفضيل بن عياض رحمه الله

إياك أن تدل الناس على الله ثم تفقد أنت الطريق، واستعذ بالله دائماً أن تكون جسرا يعبر عليه إلى الجنة، ثم يرمي في النار .

- سير أعلام النبلاء ( ٢٩١/٦) -

Fuḍhayl ibn ‘Iyaḍh (may Allāh have mercy on him) said:

Beware of directing others to Allāh while allowing yourself to stray from the path, and always seek refuge with Allāh lest you become a bridge leading (others) to Jannah while you yourself are thrown in Hell.

[Siyar A‘lām An-Nubalā' (6/291)]

Allaah Loves Those Who Repent

Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Saalih Al-'Uthaymeen, may Allaah have mercy upon him:

He, the Exalted, loves this (repentance to Him) greatly, but not for His Own self, no, but for the individual, as He, the Exalted, is free from want and need. This is merely out of love for His servant and out of His Generosity. He, the Exalted, loves to forgive and overlook rather than take one to account for their wrongdoings, so this is the reason why He loves the repentant one.

The Truly Fortunate One

Shaykhul-Islaam Ahmad Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allaah have mercy upon him:

“The (truly) fortunate one (is he who) seeks forgiveness for the mistakes, and is patient upon the calamities, just as Allaah says: 'So be patient. Verily, the Promise of Allaah is true, and ask forgiveness for your fault' in [Suurah Ghaafir 40:55].”

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

الحمد لله رب العالمين والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله و على آله و صحبه أجمعين

By the permission of our Lord, the Most Kind, the Most Merciful, this telegram channel has been established as a means to aid us in learning His Religion which He revealed in the Arabic Language. This isn't any advanced Arabic course or even a course. This is simply us learning 1 word (with its plural) a day, 5 days a week. This may not seem like much but that equals around 20 words a month (plus their plurals) which is around 240 words a year (if you include the plurals then it's around 500).

This channel open for everyone to come and benefit. How it will work is, every weekday 1 word will be sent along with its plural form and we're advised to go away and memorise them and have that done by the next day.

Everyone is advised to write down their words daily in a notepad (ideally one specifically for these arabic words) and revise them. You're also encouraged to get others involved too so we may all excel in our religion inshaallaah.

We thank Allaah, the Most Generous, for this opportunity He Has blessed us with along with His countless blessings and favours upon us and we ask Him Alone to make this sincerely seeking His reward alone, to be saved from His punishment, to make us of those whom He loves and is pleased with and for us to be of those blessed to see Him in the Afterlife. We also ask Him to make this as a means of aiding this religion and reviving this ummah.

We also thank those brothers who advised us with the establishment of this channel. May Allaah, Ash-Shakuur, accept from us and them and make it of sadaqatun jaariyyah for everyone involved.

May Allaah grant us all success.

It Is Obligatory Upon You To Defend The Honour Of Your Brother

Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Saalih Al-'Uthaymeen, may Allaah have mercy upon him:

"...if one sits in any gathering in which the righteous and good doers are backbitten, it is an obligation upon the listener to defend the backbitten, and if this is not possible, one must leave. And if the person does neither, and remains in that gathering, he will share in the sin as well. And Allaah grants success."

[Explanation Of Riyaadhus-Saaliheen, Chapter Of The Prohibition Of Backbiting And Talebearing, Hadeeth No. 1530]
