Alhamdulillaah this was a very serious and moving reminder from the noble brother. May Allaah reward him with much goodness in the aakhirah. You're all advised to listen to it and spread it so others may benefit. May Allaah rectify and strengthen this ummah.

It was said to Imam Bukhari rahimahu'allah:

"Why don't you supplicate to Allah against those who oppress, lie, and deal with you unjustly?"

He replied:

"The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Be patient until you meet me at the fountain in Paradise.'”

Please revive this Sunnah and inform others of it in hope that it will become as common as other acts from the Sunnah and also you'll receive a great reward for reviving it inshaaAllaah. Also, we as people of the sunnah should be the most eager in implementing the acts of the Messenger, SalAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam. If we aren't going to revive it, then who will?

The Recommendation of Having a Siwaak Next to You When You Sleep

On the authority of Ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him):

كَانَ لا يَنَامُ إِلا وَالسِّوَاكُ عِنْدَ رَأْسِهِ ، فَإِذَا اسْتَيْقَظَ بَدَأَ بِالسِّوَاكِ

(Translated meaning)

“The Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) did not sleep except the siwaak was at his head. When he woke up he would begin with the siwaak.”

[Reported by Ahmad and Ibn Nasr graded Hasan by Imam al-Albani in As-Saheehah (no. 2111)].

Imam al-Munaawi (may Allaah have mercy upon him) said: “(The Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) did not sleep except the siwaak was at his head): due to his intense eagerness for it. (When he woke up he would begin with the siwaak) that is: after he became alert. So that is recommended” [Fayd ul-Qadeer (5/190)].

📝❓ Questions that were presented to Sheikh Abū Anas Abdul-Khāliq Al-'Imād حفظه الله

1⃣ Some sisters feel insecure within themselves in their appearance and this makes them feel very sad to the extent where they cry.

They say that when they beautify themselves for their husbands they receive little to no compliments.

What is your advice for the sisters and their husbands?

2⃣ There's no male in my family except my younger brother and I feel like he's harsh to my younger sisters and this affects them. How do I teach him to be merciful and lenient with them?

3️⃣ We want to make our children love knowledge, what is the method or path that reaches us to this?

4️⃣ What is the ruling on getting married for the one who has no wealth or house?

5️⃣ I want to go to Yemen to seek knowledge but my mother is not okay with it. Is there a solution to this?

6️⃣ Taking a picture for passports is considered a necessity, would a live video call with a potential spouse (who lives abroad) be considered a necessity?

7️⃣ If a person is unable to travel to seek knowledge and suffices with audios, is his reward the same as the one who seeks knowledge in the Masjid? And is the ruling the same for women?

8️⃣ I want to advise a relative of mine to pray even if it's 1 prayer a day and gradually increase until he reaches 5 a day.

Is this incorrect ? Or do I have to command him immediately with 5 prayers without any excuses.

9️⃣ Ascribing oneself to Salafiyyah wasn't present in the time of the prophet ﷺ, so is this not an innovation?

🔟 Is it permissible for a woman who has children that take up a lot of her time and wants to nurture them so they are upright and students of knowledge, to use contraception pills to stop having more children?

1️⃣1️⃣ What is the best method for memorising the Qurān and perfecting/mastering it?

1️⃣2️⃣ Is it allowed to call someone "fat"? Does this fall under bad nicknames if he doesn't mind?

1️⃣3️⃣ I want to make a routine where between every Salāh I do a lesson or memorise Qurān etc. Would it be considered an innovation if between Fajr and Ḍhuhā everyday I seek forgiveness 100 times a day, and memorise Qurān? I'm not seeking closeness to Allāh or reward by that time, rather only by the act. The time is specific so I can stick to my schedule and make sure everything gets done everyday

Do You Want To Be Successful?

وَتُوبُوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ جَمِيعًا أَيُّهَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ

"...And all of you beg Allaah to forgive you all, O believers, that you may be successful."

[Al-Quraan 24:31]

Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Saalih Al-'Uthaymeen, may Allaah have mercy upon him:

"In this Verse, Allaah addresses all the Muslims collectively in His Saying: 'And all of you beg Allaah to forgive you all, O believers...' Regarding Allaah's Words: 'That you may be successful.' This is proof that indicates that repentance is one of the reasons that lead to success, and the scholars of tafseer have said that 'success' in the [arabic] language is comprehensive and means: what is sought after is obtained, and what is feared and disliked is fled from and avoided."

“When it is the day of Jumu’ah (Friday) and the night of Jumu’ah (Friday) then increase in sending Salaah upon me.”

[Saheeh Al-Jaami’ No. 776]

Imaam As-Sakhāwi (may Allaah have mercy upon him):

“Sending salaah upon the Prophet (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) is from the best and most blessed of actions which bring about the most benefit in the deen (religion) and the dunyaa (worldly life).”

[Al-Qawl Al-Badee’, 109]
