🎙️ *Shaykh Abul Yamaan al-Masqaree* حفظه الله said:

📍"Most people today-may Allaah guide them- by Allaah, we pity them. Because they are searching for happiness in things which increase them in worry, distress, and narrowness. This is because wealth, plentiful food, songs, alcoholic drinks, drugs, and sins only increase the soul in suffering, until the spirit dies and the servant becomes like one possessing a body with no spirit, similar to the cattle, rather they are more astray."

“Certainly, most of creation, they only want to fulfill their needs by utilising you,

even if that harms you in your religion or your worldly life,

their only goal is fulfilling their needs even if it harms you,

and the Lord - Blessed is He and Most High - only wants to utilise you for you,

He wants to do good to you, for you - not for His benefit,

and He wants to remove harm from you,

so how do you hang your hopes and your expectations and your fears on other than Him?!”

'Umar Ibnul-Khattaab (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: "We found our best way of living through patience."

Why should Allaah punish you if you have thanked (Him) and have believed in Him. And Allaah is Ever All-Appreciative (of good), All-Knowing.
