حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا، قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ ‏ "‏ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ، وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ، وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ"‌‏.‏

Narrated Anas Ibn Maalik, may Allaah be pleased with him:

The Prophet (ﷺ) used to say, "O Allaah! I seek refuge with You from worry and grief, from incapacity and laziness, from cowardice and miserliness, from being heavily in debt and from being overpowered by men."

إنتظار الفرج بالصبر عبادة
فإن البلاء لا يدوم

Ibn Rajab, may Allaah have mercy upon him:

“Having patience while waiting for relief is a form of worship, for verily hardship never lasts.”

Hud 11:49

تِلْكَ مِنْ أَنۢبَآءِ ٱلْغَيْبِ نُوحِيهَآ إِلَيْكَۖ مَا كُنتَ تَعْلَمُهَآ أَنتَ وَلَا قَوْمُكَ مِن قَبْلِ هَٰذَاۖ فَٱصْبِرْۖ إِنَّ ٱلْعَٰقِبَةَ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ

This is of the news of the unseen which We reveal unto you (O Muhammad sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam), neither you nor your people knew them before this. So be patient. Surely, the (good) end is for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2)

أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلِّمْنِي دُعَاءً أَدْعُو بِهِ فِي صَلاَتِي‏.‏ قَالَ ‏ "‏ قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي ظُلْمًا كَثِيرًا، وَلاَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ، فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَغْفِرَةً مِنْ عِنْدِكَ، وَارْحَمْنِي، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ

Abuu Bakr As-Siddeeq, may Allaah be pleased with him, said to the Prophet, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam: "teach me a supplication by which I may invoke (Allaah) in my prayer." He (the Prophet, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said: "Say, Oh Allaah, I have oppressed myself with a great oppression, and there is none who forgives sins except You. So forgive me with forgiveness from You, and have mercy upon me. Verily, You are the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful."
