vil for you. rather, it is good for you. And every person amongst them will be paid the sin of what they earned. And as for the one who took on the leading role in this, his will be a severe punishment.” [Al-Qur'aan 24:11].

So through such trials, Allaah manifests the light of truth and its clear proofs, which repel the falsehood and lies. So I do not desire to take revenge upon any of those who lied against me, or oppressed me, or showed enmity and hatred towards me. For indeed I forgive every Muslim, and I love only the good for them, and I desire for every Muslim the good that I desire for myself.

As for those who lied and did wrong, then I have excused and forgiven them. However, whatever is connected to violating the Rights of Allaah in this affair, then they should seek tawbah (repentance). So if they turn to Allaah in repentance, then Allaah will turn to them in forgiveness, otherwise the Judgement of Allaah will apply to them.

So if a person were to be thanked for his evil actions, then I thank all those who were the cause for this (trial) to happen to me – for it entails all the good of this world and the Hereafter. However, Allaah is thanked for His good blessings and favours by which no affair happens to a believer, except that there is good for him in it.

And the people of good intentions are thanked for their intentions, and the people of good actions are thanked for their actions. And as for those who did evil – then we ask Allaah that He turns to them in forgiveness. And you all know that this is from my nature and character.

Likewise, you all know that Abuu Bakr As-Siddeeq, may Allaah be pleased with him, concerning the matter of al-ifq (the lie against ‘Aaishah, his daughter, and wife of the Prophet, SalAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), about which Allaah revealed some Verses of the Qur’aan, swore that he would not give any more charity to Mistaah Ibn Athaathah; because Mistaah was one of those who participated in the lie. So Allaah revealed (interpretation of the meaning):

“And let not those among you who are blessed with graces and wealth swear not to give (any sort of help) to their kinsmen, al-masaakeen (the poor), and those who left their homes for Allaah's Cause. Let them pardon and forgive. Do you not love that Allaah should forgive you? And Allaah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

[Al-Qur'aan 24:22].

So when this Verse was revealed, Abuu Bakr, may Allaah be pleased with him, said: “Rather, by Allaah! I love that Allaah should forgive me.” So he continued to give to Mistaah the aid and charity that he used to give before. [Saheeh Al-Bukhaaree, No. 4757].

So with forgiveness and kind treatment towards one another, and doing Jihaad (fighting and striving) in Allaah’s Path, then it is a must that (interpretation of the meanings):

"...Allaah will bring a people whom He will love and they will love Him; humble towards the believers, stern towards the disbelievers, fighting in the Way of Allaah, and never afraid of the blame of the blamers. That is the Grace of Allaah which He bestows on whom He wills. And Allaah is All-Sufficient for His creatures' needs, All-Knower.

Verily, your Wali (Protector or Helper) is Allaah, His Messenger, and the believers, - those who perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and give Zakat, and they bow down (submit themselves with obedience to Allaah in prayer).

And whosoever takes Allah, His Messenger, and those who have believed, as Protectors, then the party of Allah will be the victorious."

[Al-Qur'aan 5:54-56].

Was-salaamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh."

Narrated by Jaabir ibn ‘Abdillah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said:

The Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said:

“The day of Friday has twelve hours, in which there is no Muslim slave who asks Allah for anything but He will grant it to him, so seek it in the last hour after ‘Asr.”

Reported by Abu Dawood (1048) and an-Nasaa’i (1389); classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood; and by an-Nawawi in al-Majmoo‘, 4/471

It has been narrated that Ibn Tawoos reports from his father [Tawoos] that he used to strive in finding the hour that the supplications are accepted on the day of Jum'ah which was after Asr [i.e. the last hour of it]. Ibn Tawoos adds : "And my Father passed away in the hour he used to love , he passed away on the day of Jum'ah after 'Asr."

Bid'ah In The Month Of Rajab

Sh. Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān (حفظه الله تعالى) was asked the following:

Question:

"There are those who single out the month of Rajab with fast; hence, is [there] anything that is confirmed [in the Sunnah to support this]?"

Answer:

The Shaikh had responded with the following:

"There is nothing that is confirmed from worship that is specifically to the month of Rajab; no fasting, no salāḥ, no 'Umrah-absolutely nothing at all specific to it.

[As for] those who are singling it out with worship, then they are the innovators since they introduced into the deen that which is not from it.

Thus, Allah and His Messenger did not legislate any specific form of worship in Rajab; no 'Umrah, no animal sacrifice, no standing [in salāḥ] in any specific night and no fasting in any specific day. Rajab is simply like any other (sacred) month.

The month of al-Muḥarram ([like Rajab) is sacred, since it is from the four sacred months.

As for singling it out with worship, then this from innovation."

BENEFIT:

TAWHEED FIRST!!!

Did you know, the first verb in the Qur'an relates to worshipping ALLAH (Tawheed)?

Here it is:
"*You alone we worship* and You alone we ask for help."
[Surat Al-Fatihah 5]

Did you also know, the first command (fi'l Amr) in the Qur'an relates to worshipping Allah alone (Tawheed)?

Here it is:
"O humanity! *Worship your Lord*, Who created you and those before you, so that you may become mindful ˹of Him˺."
[Surat Al-Baqarah 21]

Hold on a second, I thought the first command was:
( *ٱهۡدِنَا* ٱلصِّرَ ٰطَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِیمَ)
*Guide us* along the Straight Path,
[Surat Al-Fatihah 6]

Is this not the first command (fi'l Amr) in the Qur'an?

Answer: Yes and No.

YES it's a fi'l Amr, according to nahu & sarf, but NO, because this (according to balaaghah) is actually a fi'l du'a (request/supplication) - not a fi'l Amr (command). Who are we to command Allah? Hence, it's a fi'l du'a, and this is what you should say when analysing this and anything like this.

Benefits regarding the hadeeth of Tahneek from the chapter of Tahneek in the Adabul Mufrad by Imam Bukhari◾️

*Tahneek of a Baby*📚

Anas bin Maalik رضي الله عنه said, "On the day he was born, I took 'Abdullah ibn Abi Talha to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. I found him wearing a woollen robe while he was marking one of his camels with tar. The Prophet said, 'Do you have any dates with you?' 'Yes,' I replied. I gave him some dates. He chewed the dates and opened the child's mouth and put some chewed dates into the child's mouth. The child licked his lips. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'The Ansar love dates,' and gave him the name 'Abdullah."

Sahih (Al-Albani)

Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 1254

Abu Talha's newborn son Abdullah would go on to have 10 children whom all go onto become huffadh al- Qur'an (memorizers of the Qur'an) this is considered to be from the blessings of dua the prophet ﷺ made for the parents of Abdullah.

AT-Tahneek is rubbing a bit of honey or the sweetness of dates. And 'Hanak' is the upper & inner part of the mouth, so the parent places their clean finger and rubs it gently in the upper inner part of baby's the mouth.

Some people (in today's times) restrict this action to be done specifically by the Imams of masaajid but this never occurred amongst the companions that they would carry their new born to Abu Bakr or Umar or Uthman or Ali
رضي الله عنهم but rather the companions
used to bring their newborn to the prophet ﷺ to seek Allah's blessing.

As for tahneek then the parent should do this themselves and not go and take their baby to so and so to do tahneek. Tahneek is legislated Whether it's done by the father or the mother.

Be mindful as you do tahneek and dont give the baby too much since it can cause the child undesired effects for them such as diarrhoea, and fevers and you will be the cause of this.

▪️Is it obligatory for a person to answer his fellow Muslim's invitation?▪️

Our Shaykh, Muhammad ibn Hizām -may Allāh preserve him- was asked the following question:

📩 Question:

The questioner says: Is it obligatory for a person to respond to an 'Aqīqah invitation?

📝 Answer:

It is recommended for a person to respond to a fellow Muslim's invitation; whatever the occasion/meal. But if a person is invited to a walīmah (marriage banquet), then it becomes obligatory for him to attend.

The Prophet ﷺ said:
"And if he invites you, answer his invitation."

This (answering the invitation) is from the rights of a Muslim towards his fellow Muslim.

Likewise, the Prophet ﷺ said:
((إذا دعاك أخوك فأجبه))
"If your brother invites you, answer his invitation."

And he ﷺ said:
"Whoever is invited to a meal, then let him attend."

As for the obligation of attending the walīmah, then this is proven by the ḥadīth of Abū Hurairah:
((شر الطعام طعام الوليمة، يمنعها من يأتيها ويدعى إليها من يأباها، ومن لم يجب فقد عصى أبا القاسم))
"The worst food is the food of the marriage banquet (walīmah) from which those who come (i.e. the poor) are turned away, and to which those who refuse (i.e. the rich) are invited. Whoever rejects the invitation has disobeyed Abul Qāsim (i.e. The Prophet ﷺ)".
[Reported by Bukhāri & Muslim]

So whoever is invited to a walīmah must attend, unless the host excuses him, or he has a legitimate reason not to attend. As for the 'Aqīqah and any other banquet, then it is recommended for a person to attend - not obligatory; and this is proven by the ḥadīth of 'Āishah, may Allāh be pleased with her, reported by Muslim; once, a man invited the Prophet ﷺ to a meal, so he asked, "what about this one (i.e. is 'Āishah invited as well)?" The man replied, "No" (as he only wanted to invite the Prophet ﷺ). So upon that the Prophet ﷺ rejected his invitation. The man extended the invitation for a second, and a third time. On the third count, the Prophet ﷺ asked him, "how about this one?". This time round, the man said, "yes", so the Prophet ﷺ accepted his invitation.

Questioner: Is it obligatory for women to attend the walīmah if they are invited?

Sheikh: Women do not have to attend, because they are to remain in their homes and not leave except with their husband's permission.

Questioner: Is it wājib for a person to attend the banquet prepared by the bride's side?

Sheikh: The banquet that is obligatory for a person to attend is the one prepared by the groom. The walīmah is the duty of the groom. As for the banquet prepared by the bride's side, then one should also answer this invitation, but it appears that the obligation of attending applies only in the case of (the banquet prepared by) the groom, and Allāh knows best; because according to the Sharī'ah, the walīmah refers to the meal prepared by the groom. As for the banquet that is prepared by the bride's side, then this is merely a celebratory banquet - even if it is referred to as a walīmah (linguistically), it does not take the same (legal) ruling, and Allāh knows best.

Shaykh Yaḥya bin ʿAlī al-Ḥajūrī حفظه الله clarifies regarding the dangerous affair of Yūsuf al-Qarḍāwī

1. The speech of al-Qarḍāwī that the Jews and the Christians are brothers unto us in the religion as they are from the people of the heavenly religions!

2. Al-Qarḍāwī states that if Allāh ﷻ were to descend from the heavens he would not achieve that which the President of Israel would achieve (Allāh's refuge is sought!)

3. Al-Qarḍāwī says that we do not fight the Jews for them being Kuffar (disbelievers)

4. Al-Qarḍāwī prays for (Allāh’s) mercy for the Pope of Vatican on his death!

5. Al-Qarḍāwī calls to unity of religions

6. Al-Qarḍāwī gives a ruling for (the Muslim women in) France to remove the Hijāb
