Muhammad Ibn 'Abdillāh Ibn 'Abdil-Muttalib Ibn Hāshim Ibn 'Abdi-Manāf Ibn Qusayy Ibn Kilāb

Kunyah: أَبُو القَاسِم

Abūl-Qāsim

Date/Place of birth: The year of the elephant/Makkah

Date/Place of death: 10 years after the Hijrah/Madīnah

Something small about him ﷺ:

- Last of the Prophets and the greatest of them ﷺ.

- No good deed is accepted if it isn't done sincerely for Allāh ﷻ alone and in accordance to his Sunnah ﷺ.

Although this channel was made to mention the names of the narrators of Ahaadeeth, we will begin with the best of creation, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, due to the fact that many of the ummah are ignorant of his name and lineage which in reality is a shame upon us considering all that he did for us and how much he was concerned for us, even though he didn't meet us. This is true love so it's a must that we Muslims, especially people of the Sunnah, know his name at the very least. May Allaah bless us all with success and sincerity.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE REGARDING THE DAY OF 'AASHUURAA THIS YEAR

As many of you may know, there is differing over what the date is today in the Islamic calendar. This means that there is differing over which day 'Aashuuraa falls upon. Today is the 7th according to one side, the other side say it's the 8th. This means that tomorrow (17th Aug. 2021) is actually the 9th of Muharram 1443 according to one side and as we know it's recommended to fast the 9th along with the 10th.

Shaykh Abuu 'Ammaar Yaasir Al-'Adanee mentioned that Imaam Ahmad and Ibn Sireen mentioned that if this occurs, there's no problem to fast all 3 days.

إذا اشتبه علينا تحديد يومي تاسوعاء وعاشوراء،
فلا بأس أن نصوم ثلاثة أيام
( الثلاثاء والأربعاء والخميس )،
وبه قال ابن سيرين وأحمد كما في "
المغني " لابن قدامة (٣/١٧٨) .

So just to be safe, no matter what side you're following, you're advised to fast tomorrow (17th Aug. 2021) along with the next two days (Wed. 18th Aug & Thur. 19th Aug. 2021) to catch the 9th and 10th (day of 'Aashuuraa) and be safe inshaallaah.

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته.

قد توفي فضيلة شيخنا أبي عبد الرحمن عبد الرقيب بن علي الكوكباني - رحمه الله تعالى رحمة واسعة - بسبب عدم القدرة على التنفس بعد معاناة الكورونا.
سجلوا وفاة الشيخ بالساعة الثانية عشرة صباحا بالتوقيت الماليزيا
يوم الثلاثاء ٨ المحرم ١٤٤٣ مم الهجرة.
فإنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون اللهم أجرنا في مصيبتنا واخلف لنا خيرا منها.

It saddens us to mention the death of our beloved Sheikh Abū Abdir-Rahmān Abdur-Raqīb Al-Kawkabānī رحمه الله تعالى. The Sheikh had been ill from Corona for a couple of weeks and died after being unable to breathe.

His death was at 12am in Malaysia.

To Allāh we belong and to him we shall return. Oh Allāh, reward us in our calamity and replace us with better.

The True Contagious Disease

Al-Hāfidh ibn Rajab al-Hanbali rahimahullāh said:

"The [true] contagious disease which destroys the one who gets close to it is sins, for whoever gets close to it, mixes with it, and continues upon it will be destroyed."

[Latāif al-Ma'ārif (57)]

📍مراتب صيام عاشوراء مرتبتين :
الأولى : أن يصوم عاشوراء وقبله التاسع .
الثانية : أن يصوم عاشوراء لوحده .
وحديث صوموا يوما قبله ويوما بعده ضعيف .

🎙️Al-Alaamah Albani (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

📍"The ways of fasting Ashura are of two:

First: That you fast the 10th and the 9th before it.

Second: Or that you fast the 10th by itself.

As the hadith, "Fast a day before it (Ashura) and a day after it" is weak.
