▪️During Summer, 'Ishā comes in very late and Fajr starts very early - so are we allowed to combine 'Ishā with Maghrib and go to sleep early in order to get enough sleep to function properly?▪️
Our Shaykh, Muhammad ibn Hizām -may Allāh preserve him- was asked the following question:
📩 Question:
In Summer, the time for 'Ishā is so late that the difference between it and Fajr is only four hours. Many people do not get enough sleep (at night) because soon after the prayer they head straight to work, and sometimes, if one stays up to pray 'Ishā on time he ends up missing Fajr. For this reason, some mosques combine between Maghrib and 'Ishā, offering both prayers at the time of Maghrib.
📝 Answer:
This action of theirs is incorrect. They are not travellers, nor do they have an excuse that allows them to combine between prayers.
They must remain patient and strive to pray the prayers in their appointed times. They should rest whenever they can during the day; if one only gets four hours sleep during the night, then they could compensate for any missed sleep by taking a nap after Fajr, or even better, after Sunrise, or between Dhuhr and Asr, or any other time. The point being, they must rest at other times during the day and not pray 'Ishā before its appointed time.
Similarly, if the gap between Maghrib and 'Ishā is long, then they can nap during that time if they wish, unless this leads to missing 'Ishā, for indeed the Prophet ﷺ used to dislike sleeping before 'Ishā. So if sleeping during this time leads one to miss 'Ishā, then he shouldn't sleep during this time.

◾Benefits of making much Istighfār ◾️
Answered by Shaykh Abul-Yamān Adnān Ibn Hussain Al-Masqarī - May Allāh preserve him
📩 Question:
Allāh The Exalted says:
{And O my people! Ask forgiveness of your Lord and then repent to Him, He will send you (from the sky) abundant rain, and add strength to your strength..}
Is it correct to interpret the Āyah by saying that an increase in asking forgiveness from Allāh will add strength to our strength, and what is the meaning of strength, is it immunity, the opposite of illness?
📝 Answer:
Yes the Āyah is general. Istighfār [asking for forgiveness] will increase one's strength in every affair from the affairs of the Dunyā and religion, and it includes the strength of one's health and body, and Allāh knows best.

◾️Speaking to women online privately for marriage◾️
Answered by Shaykh Abul-Yamān Adnān Ibn Hussain Al-Masqarī - May Allāh preserve him
📩 Question:
What is ruling on the speaking that happens between men and women online for the purpose of marriage and this is without the presence of the woman's wali [guardian], then, if they agree upon the marriage they then speak to the woman's wali?
📝 Answer:
It's not permissible, and this is a door to fitnah [trials] and an avenue from the avenues to fornication and violating the sancitities [of Allāh], and also, its a reason for wasting time and listening to the voice of a woman; so in conclusion it contains many great evils. And Allāh is the One who grants success.

"Be careful and inspect: if you see yourself as sluggish in regards to good – then be fearful that Allaah dislikes your being sent forth in good."
Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Saalih Al-'Uthaymeen, may Allaah have mercy upon him
With regards to the saying of Allaah, The Most High:
وَلَٰكِن كَرِهَ ٱللَّهُ ٱنۢبِعَاثَهُمْ فَثَبَّطَهُمْ وَقِيلَ ٱقْعُدُوا۟ مَعَ ٱلْقَٰعِدِينَ
"...But Allaah disliked their being sent, so He kept them back, and they were told, 'Remain [behind] with those who remain.'"
[Al-Quraan 9:46]
"...and they were told, 'Remain [behind] with those who remain.'"
Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Saalih Al-‘Uthaymeen, may Allaah have mercy upon him, said:
"Be careful and inspect: if you see yourself as sluggish in regards to good – then be fearful that Allaah dislikes your being sent forth in good. Look again for a second time and ask your soul to accustom itself upon patience and oblige it upon obedience – and so today you carry it out reluctantly whilst tomorrow you will carry it out obediently and so it will be light for you.
What is important is that in this is a stern warning for the one who sees from himself that he is sluggish in obedience. For perhaps Allaah, The Most High, dislikes that this individual should be from His dutiful obedient servants; so He makes him sluggish in regards to obedience.
We ask Allaah that He aids us upon remembrance of Him, and in being thankful to Him, and in worshipping Him in a fine manner.
The point of observation from this Verse is His saying:
كَرِهَ ٱللَّهُ ٱنۢبِعَاثَهُمْ فَثَبَّطَهُمْ وَقِيلَ ٱقْعُدُوا۟ مَعَ ٱلْقَٰعِدِينَ
"...Allaah disliked their being sent, so He kept them back, and they were told, 'Remain [behind] with those who remain.'"
He did not say: "and He said to them: 'Remain [behind] with those who remain.'" because Allaah does not command with vile deeds – but it was said (to them) remain [behind].
Who is the teller? It is the soul – no it is not Allaah; it is the soul. The soul converses with the person and says: ‘remain behind; don’t go on this occasion – go on the next occasion.’ The shaytaan causes sluggishness from good, bad associates also cause sluggishness from good. So because of this the one doing the action (in the Verse) is omitted – meaning the teller – so that it is more encompassing.
Therefore those who say ‘remain [behind] with those who remain’ then they are numerous, we have mentioned three from amongst them: the soul; the shaytaan; and bad associates."

Do You Want Your Children To Be Upright? Make Them Attend The Gatherings Of Knowledge
Umm Abdillah bint ash-Shaikh Muqbil al-Waadi’ee (may Allah preserve her) wrote:
“Verily from the greatest forms of rectification for the children and their excellence is sitting with the People of Knowledge, and encouraging them upon that. Imam at-Tirmidhi (may Allah have mercy upon him) reports in his Sunan (no. 3781) from the Hadith of Hudhaifah bin al-Yamaan (may Allah be pleased with them) who said:
“My mother asked me: ‘When is your planned time – meaning with the Prophet (ﷺ)?’ So I said: ‘I have not had a planned time to see him since such and such time.’ She rebuked me, so I said to her: ‘Let me go to the Prophet (ﷺ) so that I may perform Maghrib (prayer) with him, and ask him to seek forgiveness for you and I.’ So I came to the Prophet (ﷺ), and I prayed Maghrib with him, then he prayed until he prayed Al-‘Isha. Then he turned, and I followed him, and he heard my voice, and said: ‘Who is this? Hudhaifah?’ I said: ‘Yes.’ He said: “What is your need, may Allah forgive you and your mother?’ He said: ‘Indeed, this is an angel that never descended to the earth ever before tonight. He sought permission from his Lord to greet me with peace and to give me the glad tidings that Fatimah is the chief of the women of Paradise, and that Al-Hasan and Al-Husain are the chiefs of the youths of the people of Paradise.'”
The righteous mother ‘Ulayyah bint Hasaan the Mawlah of Bani Shaybaan (may Allah have mercy upon her) came with her son Isma’eel to Abdul-Waarith bin Sa’eed. al-Khateeb al-Baghdad reported in Tareekh al-Baghdad (9/230) in the biography of Isma’eel bin ‘Ulayyah with a Saheeh Isnad from the route of Ubaidullah bin Aisha, who is Ubaidullah bin Muhammad bin Hafs who said: Abdul-Waarith said: ” ‘Ulayyah came to me with her son and said: “This is my son who will be with you to take from your good manners”. He said: “He (Isma’eel) was the most beautiful boy in Basrah”. He said: “If I passed by a people sitting. I said to him: “Go forth”. And then I would come after him to the Muhaddith. Ibrahim al-Harbi said, and he is the narrator from Ubadiallah bin ‘Aisha: “Ibn Uyaynah and the people of Basrah left from there not doubting that Isma’eel was more firm in knowledge then Abdul-Waarith”.
And ‘Ulayyah bint Hasaan (may Allah have mercy upon her) was a honorable and intelligent woman as Ibn Sa’d described her in at-Tabaqaat in the biography of her son Isma’eel (7/190)”

“I would have commanded the woman to prostrate to her husband..."
Muḥammad Ibn 'Abdir-Rahmaan Ibn 'Abdir-Raheem Al-Mubaarakfuuree, may Allaah have mercy upon him, said in explanation of this Hadeeth:
قَوْلُهُ (لَأَمَرْتُ الْمَرْأَةَ أَنْ تَسْجُدَ لِزَوْجِهَا) أَيْ لِكَثْرَةِ حُقُوقِهِ عَلَيْهَا وَعَجْزِهَا عَنِ الْقِيَامِ بِشُكْرِهَا
"His ﷺ's statement: 'I would have commanded the woman to prostrate to her husband' meaning this is due to the numerous nature of al-ḥuqūq (ie: the rights) of the husband over the wife and her inability to fully appreciate him (for them).
And in this is the peak of exaggeration due to the obligation of the woman's fulfilment of her husband's right, for sujūd (prostration) is not lawful for other than Allah."

4 SIMPLE STEPS TO HELP YOU ESTABLISH THE NIGHT PRAYERS:
1⃣- Start off by praying Witr (1 rak'ah minimum) straight after the ‘Isha congregation in the masjid.
2⃣- If that becomes a norm, you should start praying Witr as soon as you return home from the ‘Isha congregation.
3⃣- if that becomes a norm, delay Witr until just before bedtime.
4⃣- If that becomes a norm, start praying Witr 10 minutes before Fajr Adhān. Then from here, increase the time bit by bit until you become an established ‘Ābid in-shā-Allāh. 👍🏽
📢 I know it's easier said than done, but remember Allāh's promise (in the ḥadīth Qudusi):
“If My servant draws nearer to Me a span, I will draw 1 cubit nearer to him; and if he draws a cubit span nearer to Me, I will draw nearer to him the span of an outstretched arm; and if he comes to Me walking, I will go to him running.”
[Reported by Muslim]

◾I extend my sincere advice to my brothers listening◾️
By our Shaykh, the 'Allāmah, the Trustworthy Advisor, Abū 'Abdirrahmān Yahya bin 'Alī Al-Hajūri - may Allāh preserve him -
⤵️

🎙"With this occasion I extend my sincere advice to my brothers listening that whoever finds a markaz of knowledge then let him retreat to it, so he memorizes the Qurān, and dedicates to researching, and dedicates to memorizing and to what benefits him, it is a valuable opportunity, and perhaps if he looses it, he will regret it the severest of regrets, and that he is not pleased for himself to be delayed behind for the sake of food or drink or increase in luxuries.
So our brothers who are abroad may Allāh preserve them, we have lived through what they are living and we have seen that by Allāh being abroad no matter how much worship or things of that nature in it, the Sunnah in it is not like a month here in terms of knowledge and good and obedience to Allāh 'Az wa Jall and exertion upon benefiting Islām and the Muslims, the Sunnah there is not equal to a month here.
And that the knowledge decreases little by little.
And steadfastness becomes weak.
And sitting with those weak in steadfastness becomes common.
And that the doubts increase.
And that the desires attack on a person from the angle of his future, because the society demands this.
A peaceful society helps upon the good.
So you see a person gathered upon something small living in peace, and blessing is from Allāh, and the Da'wah is taking place, and we were there perhaps we would put effort into a small number of students what we didn't put here by Allāh, and no fruits.
Overburdening rent.
Overdurdening costs.
Also some fees and some treatments.
Ya'nī things not possible for a person to combine with seeking knowledge, it's not possible.
And from here perhaps he could be placed before this jam'iyyah and that jam'iyyah, he sugar coats with this one and that one in order for the affairs to run smoothly, and i think this is known to all the people that were there and lived it.
For this reason whoever finds a salafi markaz of knowledge let him retreat to it and have patience on its good and bad, and in it is good walillahilhamd, what happens in it of giving precedence to others, being sufficed in means of living or being sufficed in some means of living, this is a miracle, the one who wastes it is in regret and a people do not cease to fall back until Allāh puts them back.
So you could remain abroad for example a year and your friend spends a year in a markaz from the marākiz of knowledge and aquires with him from the good and fruits of knowledge what does not happen with that other one, rather without no comparison.
And there are some things rarely that are not comparable, otherwise the asl is that high living and costly expenditure wastes the knowledge, these overburdening costs, you receive one injection for 70 saudi riyal, just merely entering it into the vein or in a muscle is 70 riyal and if you transfer it (15,000 yemeni riyal/$20) all of a sudden it is an amount that a person here could last on its exchange for some time.
Some simple operations for 12,000 saudi riyal (2 million yemeni/$3000), 20,000 riyal, minor operations here could go for 100,000 (yemeni riyal/$150) or 200,000 yemeni riyal.
We contacted some of our brothers who were sick two days ago and suddenly his son was saying the operation is 12,000 saudi riyal, in grief of paying it, minor simple operation, here I think 200,000 or less in yemeni riyal and birth operations ya'nī 12,000 saudi riyal, 8,000 (1.5 million yemeni/$2000), around this limit above 8,000, and perhaps here (yemen) for something small, sometimes for free, in some hospitals for free by Allāh.
I am mentioning this as examples, 8000 saudi riyal (here) a person could get married and over there 8000 a woman gives birth.
