A Severe Warning For Those Who Corrupt The Relationship Of The Married Couple

Ash-Shaykh Saalih Al-Fawzaan, may Allaah preserve him:

"There comes a shadīd (ie: severe) warning for those who corrupt the relationship between a woman and her husband, and incites her against him. It comes in a narration: “Cursed is the one who turns a woman against her husband.” [Abū Dāwūd, Al-Ḥākim in his Mustadrak]. This means they are the reason for her corrupt behaviour towards him and her defiance of him. It is obligatory for the wife's family to be diligent in trying to bring about rectification between the spouses because this is beneficial for her and for them."

"Da'watus-Salafiyyah, it doesn't raise no punks, it doesn't raise any chumps. Da'watus-Salafiyyah, it raises up men who are brave and offer their soul to Allaah, Subhaanahu wa Ta'aalaa. Da'watus-Salafiyyah doesn't raise any chumps, it doesn't raise sinners. It doesn't raise people who flirt with women, it doesn't raise people whose main concern is dunyaa. Those are people who have very little benefit from Da'watus-Salafiyyah. This Da'watus-Salafiyyah raises up righteous people, courageous people, so don't fear anything except Allaah, Subhaanahu wa Ta'aalaa."

Seek Refuge With Allaah From These Things

The Prophet ﷺ used to say in his supplication:

اللَّهُمَّ إنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْفَقْرِ وَالْكُفْرِ، وَالْفُسُوقِ، وَالشِّقَاقِ، وَالنِّفَاقِ، وَالسُّمْعَةِ، وَالرِّيَاءِ.

رواه الحاكم (1944) ،وصححه الألباني في "صحيح الجامع" (1285).

Oh Allaah I seek refuge with You from poverty, disbelief, disobedience, defiance, hypocrisy, seeking fame, and showing off.

Increase In Voluntary Actions While You're Healthy

قال العلامة ابن عثيمين⁩ رحمه الله:

‏"على العاقل أن يكثر من النوافل ما دام في حال الصحة لأن جميع النوافل التي يعملها في صحته إذا مرض وعجز عنها كتبت له كاملة كأنه يفعلها."

Al-‘Allaamah Ibn ‘Uthaymeen - may Allaah have mercy on him - said

“It is incumbent on the intellectual person to perform voluntary actions in abundance while he is in a healthy state because all of the voluntary actions which he does while healthy, if he becomes sick and unable to perform them, they are written for him completely as if he had done them.”

Learning The Arabic Language In Order To Understand The Religion Is Beloved To Allaah

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Allaah informs us in the first part of Suurah Ibraaheem:


وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا بِلِسَانِ قَوْمِهِۦ لِيُبَيِّنَ لَهُمْ

And We sent not a Messenger except with the language of his people, in order that he might make (the Message) clear for them... [Al-Quraan 14:4]

Shaykh ‘Abdur-Rahmaan As-Sa’dee, may Allaah have mercy upon him, mentioned the following point in his explanation of this Ayah:

ويستدل بهذه الآية الكريمة على أن علوم العربية الموصلة إلى تبيين كلامه وكلام رسوله أمور مطلوبة محبوبة لله لأنه لا يتم معرفة ما أنزل على رسوله إلا بها إلا إذا كان الناس بحالة لا يحتاجون إليها، وذلك إذا تمرنوا على العربية، ونشأ عليها صغيرهم وصارت طبيعة لهم فحينئذ قد اكتفوا المؤنة، وصلحوا لأن يتلقوا عن الله وعن رسوله ابتداء كما تلقى عنهم الصحابة رضي الله عنهم.

This noble Ayah can be used to show that the sciences of the Arabic language which enable one to understand Allaah’s Speech and the speech of His Messenger are something which are encouraged to learn and beloved to Allaah. That is because knowing what Allaah sent down to His Messenger can not be fully achieved without learning them.

That is the case, except for those people who do not need to learn those sciences – i.e. those who are accustomed to the Arabic language, having been brought up on it since their youth and it being natural for them. In that case, what they have is sufficient and suitable, for they are able to receive the message from Allaah and His Messenger just as the companions (may Allaah be pleased with them) did.
